Clash of the Titans 2014 - 40k Tournament

The venue is Gordon Hall Scout Hut, Huntley Drive, West Finchley, London N3 1NX
1650 points from any current 40k Codex. Dataslates, Formations and the contents of the Stronghold Assault, Escalation or any Lords of War will not be in use. Forge World 40K Approved units are permitted provided their rules are not marked as ‘Experimental’ or any ranged D weapons if they become available on non LoW units.
The cut off for new Codex inclusion is 12 May 2014.

Armies must be painted to a standard three colour minimum, that is all. Though there will be a prize for Best Army - Players Choice. Armies should be entirely WYSIWYG. Proxies are allowed but must clearly represent the substituted model and be of the same scale.
Allies are allowed following the rules found in the main 40k rulebook, with no restrictions. Fortifications are also allowed provided they can be placed without moving or removing tournament terrain.
5 rounds at 2.75 hours each over two days, with tailored missions from the main rulebook to be released with the mission pack. These missions will closely resemble the missions from the main rulebook.
Players of any level of experience are welcome. It will be run in a tournament format so that players of equal skill are matched against one another as much as possible.
Day 1 Schedule:
09:00-09:30 Doors open, registration
09:30-12:15 Game 1
12:15- 13:00 Lunch (Best Army voting)
13:00-15:45 Game 2
15:45-16:15 Break
16:15-19:00 Game 3
Most of the members will be going for beers and a burger at the local tavern on the High street

09:30-12:15 Game 4
12:15-13:00 Lunch
13:00-15:45 Game 5
15:45-16:30 Pack away & awards
Scoring:
Players will be ranked and matched using Tournament Points [TP] followed by Victory Points [VP] earned in battle.
Tournament Points scoring will be released with the mission pack.

Getting To the Club
The club is 60 seconds walk from West Finchley Tube station, or there is free parking directly outside the hall and local side streets.
Food and drink
There's a decent confectionary next door and KFC is walking distance or McDonalds is five minutes by car.
Accommodation
Chumleigh Lodge http://thechumleighhotel.co.uk is the closest B&B and is walking distance from Finchley tube stations, the high street and the club.

We’re on a big push for lots of LOS blocking terrain; there should be at least two medium sized pieces of LOS blocking terrain on each table together with the usual ruins, forests and craters.
Oh and the guy behind the Dark City himself is a paid up attendee!
