| Been admiring Infinity for a while, some of their models look just amazing. Also watched a whole series made by MWG on "Learning Infinity"! ^^ - Thor665 wrote:

Exactly. Plenty of great details in the model, but got to love those pants the most! The colour scheme is good, but the gun looks a little bland. Maybe that is just good.

| Cheers guys. Aye those are pretty awesome pants she has (or trousers as we like to says here in blighty ). Mngwa I do feel the gun is a little bland compared to the rest of the more colourful model but I was trying to go for a more gritty real world feel to the weapon. It has a few layers of wash and highlights that maybe do not come out too well in the photos, but I do think it is probably the weakest part of the scheme, and probably may need a re-think. Cheers for the input . | |

| But...but... Sparkly things and stripes would look great on that gun! And bright red colours! And... Yes it looks good the way it is | |

| Nice work! Infinity is really growing on me, and ever since I saw those new Pan-O Neoterra Bolt sculpts, I really want to get into the game. From what I have seen in the videos, the game seems to be very much like XCOM with constant Overwatch, and pulls off the lethal feel of it very well. Would love to see more of your models for inspiration! | |

| I don't think it is the colour scheme on the gun that is a bit bland, but the gun itself, especially the front half. It does dominate the model a bit and it is quite plain, so perhaps a bit more detail on it? Drill out the holes in each side of the muzzle for starters? Scorck marks around the front?
It is a great model, however, and you have certainly done it justice. Can't wait to see others.

| @ Slitcus the Ancient. Thank you . It really is an incredible game with an amazing amount of tactical depth. Every move has to be thought out and the action/reaction nature of it really makes it lifelike and very deadly. Only critisicmfor the game is that the rules are incredibly complicated and the rulebook is poorly laid out. However a new edition is being released later this year that is supposed to address both the issues above and make the game more accessible for new players. I can highly recommend getting into this game. @ Scantily clad. Thanks . I take your points on board and agree that the gun does indeed dominate the figure somewhat. I like the idea of the scorch marks and think it will add a little interest to the plain weapon. I might add a coloured band somewhere on the gun to add some interest to it too. Thanks for the advice, it is great to get input on stuff like this, especially when testing out the scheme before beginning the rest of my models. | |

| Update. Painted muzzle burn and a green section on the gun barrel/rest. Any better? Too much/little? | |

| I like the first, he still looks like he is looking in the direction of the gun, but the chin-down pose is a bit more characterful. | |

| Fantastic work spellcheck2001, I really like how the guns look now. The ivory pistol grips and stock butts are also a very nice touch.
How do you do the leaves on the bases, please?

| Cheers tengu. I was thinking of doing a blossom tree up the side of their trousers but did not in the end, as I thought it would make the model too busy. Thanks scantily clad . Glad the guns are looking better. They were the weak point of the model before as they were so boring just in metal. The leaves are from birch trees but you can buy them online from model shops and the like. Antenocitis workshop do them I think or eBay will have stockists. The un-dyed ones are the best for a natural look (with a brown wash) but you can get all sorts of colours depending on what scheme you are after. The ones on the base above were crushed into shards and then superglued to the base. | |

| These models are looking great. I had been thinking of getting the Japanese Sectorial for awhile but I Jumped in with Ariadna and Corregidor in the end, really excited to start painting all my stuff.
Please keep posting the stuff that you paint for us to look at!

| Awesome cheers. I really like the Ariadna stuff and have played against them a couple of times now and they have so enice tricks. I chose JSA mainl because I love samurai and anime and these guys ticked all the boxes. Looking forward to 3rd ex when combat becomes viable again (yes that's right it will change for the better ). Let me know how you get on as it can be a hard game to pick up but once your toes are set it is thoroughly enjoyable. | |
