Greetings, great Archons, Succubi, and Haemonculi.
I and my colleague (Eldar player) talked about the use of WWP in 7th Ed and made an idea. It's not the novel one thoguh - we saw this tactics in the recent WWP Roster Tournament here. Anyway, we focused on the mathhammer of the tactics, but we're far from our rulebook now due to being in the middle of business trip. It'd be much appreciated if denizens of the dark city would find any errors/drawbacks in our mathhammer.
- A haemy with WWP in a Raider may move 15": 6" Raider move + 3" from base center to hull + 6" haemy move.
- WWP is a 3" small-blast gate.
- Wraithguards are 2"-base models.
- Their threat bubble is 18": 6" move + 12" Wraithcannon (we haven't considered D-Scythe yet)
In conclusion, Wraithcannon can reach up to 26" from the centerline as soon as WGs pop up from WWP. They may run&shoot with a lucky Spiritseer, which can increase their threat bubble more. Except for a 72"-long battlefield, WGs may attack any vehicles with S10 AP2 shots (without being attacked).
Again, there may be bunch of errors cause we mathhammered it in the flight without the rulebook. Any thoughts please?
