Hello my good associates of commorragh.
I, Archon Zanil will require your "skills" in my imminent rise to power. Soon all of the dark city will be mine (Does evil laugh).
Anyway enough about my dramatic entrance, lets talk about the hobby. I have been into 40k for a short time of about 2 years. In this time I have experimented with a various range of armies including Chaos Daemons and Tau. I quit Tau after the update to them as I deemed them too strong and not fun to play as I felt bad about smashing my opponents to bits time and time again, as well as finding out that they weren't as nice as they seemed to be. After that occurrence I decided to go down the dark path and do Chaos Daemons. They were random, fun and not too competitive in my eyes as at any moment your entire army could be sucked back into the warp. Sadly, after the shockwave that was daemonology, the Daemons got a bad name and many of my fellow daemon players were doing daemon factory lists. I was appalled because I did not like this certain way of playing Daemons. So after 7th hit I did not enjoy Chaos Daemons as once again my army had become too strong for my liking.
And that has led me to the Dark Eldar. The finesse army, the army that only the professionals can pull off, the elite club. Combined with fantastic models, a fast and speedy playstyle I cursed myself that I had not done any research into these dark denizens. I quickly bought the Codex and was sucked into the rich and tragic backstory of these villainous beings. I love a good bad guy and these guys take the spot!
As a gift to all you "associates" I pay tribute to you with a selection of exotic pets, including gyrinxes, Tyranid hormagaunts and a miniaturised star whale. And may you reap many souls.
Thank you for reading, from Theatakcat
