Quick Inquiry-regarding Lhamaeans/Baron's special poisoned rules---

I know we may have a new codex coming soon and characters will drop like flies BUT until I actually see it.... I have a question that has been bugging me even though I have never used these characters...

My question is- regarding the Lhamaean's and the Duke's special poison rules..... IF you run either of these in a court or leading the army, does the special rule make items like Agonizers,Husk Blades, regular generic power weapons,POISONED IN ADDITION TO their normal weapon profiles?

With regards to the Duke, I can plainly see normal poisoned DEldar weapons going to 3+ but with regards to the Court and the effects on the Archon's weapons (and WHY does it not also affect the Sslyth weapons?) i would not see how he would benefit with the special poisoned rule unless you give your Archon a basic CCW and the Lhamie's rule makes it poisoned 2+....

** still want a Lhamaean as an option for 1-2 in the army to attach to units to make them Poisoned 2+ , make it either she is assigned to it as an option or make her a stand alone character like how priests, other odd characters are done in other armies...how badass would that be!!

No to both.

Duke's rule specifically states that it only upgrades splinter weapons.
Similarly, Lhamaean's rule specifies that it only applies to poison weapons (so literally just the splinter pistol benefits, since venom blades and her own weapons are already poison 2+), which is why no one takes Lhamaeans.

Thanks, I thought so but figured I would ask... yea poison ladies are pretty useless unless you can expand their rule to include other units or characters weapons in the same unit...... i really wonder how GW comes up with stuff that could be good then they make it basically useless..... no proof reading in that whole company it seems and their play testing is horrid.......someone needs to get nailed by a hex rifle....

Except you get a sybarite stat line, with a venom blade and a small boost for the archon for half the cost if you bought it in a unit... She is a bargain!

If the court overall were more function it would be great but points vs stats/wargear/rules she is very good
