Been at this WH40k thing for, what feels like to me, at least, a while now. Started up circa 3rd ed. with everyone's favorite power armored teacher's pets as an overly excited 12 year old who couldn't model or paint or form a cohesive strategy to save my (or my models') lives. Fast forward a decade and change between multiple hiatuses, switching over to less awesome Eldars, and finally wising up to which side more awesome Eldars really play for, here I am. Very slowly assembling my little plastic sociopaths over the past year and have a few games under my belt as battle buddies to Craftworld Elfdar. Hopefully all the new shiny bits in this upcoming codex will get the gears turning enough to get me to assemble and field a stand alone murder space elf force.

I've lurked here a fair few times now, and it's always been interesting and entertaining. Seems like a great community, y'know, for a lot of sadist space pirates and all.

And your signature is the truth. In lieu of buying the new 7th ed. Ork models, my friend just just made them out of looted Tyranids instead. Ork boys riding Tyranid warriors decked out in Kill Kan bits in place of Meganobs. It's as magical as it sounds. Anything really is possible.
