On topic, i really hope that supplement will house at least one way to get Pain Engines close to enemy. Because as it stands, they're worth something only as counter-charge. May work for IG or Tau army as allies (Eldar got mobility and Wraithknights), but i cannot imagine a way in which those might be useful for DE army itself.

Awesome. I'll probably get the new Archon. Seems like I'm the only person that likes that model. I'll probably do a bit of a kitbash with it.

I'll wait until I've had the codex for a while and there are solid opinions on the supplement before I consider getting it. Could be fun if there's some good fluff in it. Overall I'm pretty happy with the releases. I can't wait to get back into the hobby properly.

if only the talos was not mc then we could mount them.

i dont like the archons legs but the rest of the kit looks pretty good, im thinking about using the legs from something else to make him look a bit more dynamic.
Although i do have 3 archons (one modelled as vect) so i dont really need another model.......unless i start running an unbound list with just grots and archons in raiders.

I think the new Archon looks awesome. Glad to hear the Coven supplement is coming so soon, I can hear what the word is there as I work on my Wracks.

Since you sound so assured, it means you've got your hands on codex and portal is indeed not 1/army, and Haemounculii still can be taken 3/slot?

The Succubus is an interesting model. I think I'll need a better look at it before I decide whether I like it or not, though.

On topic, I'm really not in  need of any of these models (except maybe succubus) but I'm glad that not buying the archon edition did not preclude me from the supplement for weeks. That was a concern for me.

Disappointed that they did resculpts and new plastic kits for the HQ trio instead of using that design space for things without a model. Not a fan of the archon AT PRESENT (because some models look loads better in person than they do in pictures), but if I'm to pick up one of the three it'll be the succubus, as I already own an archon and a haemy.

Succubus looks good and I like the majority of the archon, will definitely get the archon, and possibly the succubus though I run kabal heavy lists. Stuck at an impasse as I saw other people use the fantasy Chaos Sorcerer body as an archon, and was going to do that, possibly may use that as a third haeme.

My apologies then but my request for knowing how to mute people on this forum (without naming names) still stands. I'm on a phone too so is it even doable?

I personally think this new archon isn't so bad. I mean a leg conversion might often be needed but he's plastic so opening up the pose isn't too hard. Or if you look up the images of the leader of the flayed skull using this kit it looks quite regal and imperious.

The only thing I don't like about the archon model is the legs, but as others have stated, it doesn't look difficult to make more dynamic because it's plastic. I absolutely love the succubus model, especially the archite glaive. Will probably getting a succubus to go alongside leith. I really like leith so here's hoping she's got decent kick in this codex!

I guess that's a decent development. Between the Archon and the Haemonculus, there were few reasons to take one.

Yup. S4 AP2 at initiative 8 unless it gets changed, and some kind of boost to the statline from combat drugs. There's not much that wants to take that to the face.

Most of people who wear 2+ out there are not scared by S4. They also tend to have some kind of invulnerables, high T, Eternal Warrior and their attacks ID poor Succubi en masse.
