I quite like the pose.
The one thing I might try to say is that as is, the head on the end of the chain will look a little odd. This is mainly due to the rounded off and not at all gross neck. What you really need there is an exposed bit of spine and some hanging fleshy detritus.

I'd suggest a shorter chain, and a less straight-out arm too.

At the moment he's not holding it up like "hahaha, I cut off this head, check it out you pathetic enemies!", it's a long way down, and at arm's length, more like "eww, a head! Keep it away."

you should bend the chain to make it look like he is swinging it as either a weapon or just on a leisurely stroll. that would be awesome.

I agree with bending the arm and chain a bit, not with reducing it.
Think it would be great if he swings chain in the same direction as his flag/ hair/ robe goes.
