1500 Tournament List. Advice Needed

I normally max out on my troop choices but in this list I'm only taking 4. I'm concern that this will be a mistake. The tournament missions will be selected at random from the book. Any advice or help would be grateful. I have 10pts to spare also.

What do you see the Warriors in Raiders without splinter racks really doing for you? An easy shift would be to just go guys in Venoms so you still have the anti-infantry shooting (better, really) and you would then be able to take 5 Troops, which you seem concerned about taking only 4.

Sorry splinter rack are on the raiders. Plus I believe if I went with 5 venoms I would be over by 40 pts. I guess I'm fine going with just 4 troop choices as long as it will still get the job done.

10 Warriors in a Raider w. Lance and Racks = 155
So 2 of those equate to - 310
You can get 5 Warriors in a Venom for 105 (120 with a Blaster) or in a Raider w. Lance for 100 (115 w. Blaster)

So, for 310 you could do; 3x Venoms w. 5 Warriors = 315 so it's a 5 point gain, but honestly I have no idea how maxed out your points is or is not. If you are right on the line then, yeah, you'd need to adjust to do that.

Quite frankly, if it were me, I'd probably go 3x Raider w. 5 Warriors w. Blaster and would peel off the extra 35 points elsewhere because with Razorwings whipping around I see little value for Gunboats.

I think your list looks pretty good. I have been putting Cannons on my Razorwings lately to help with the influx of FMCs around my meta. I don't think your list will suffer by losing the two Dark Lances on the Raiders to use those + the 10 points you already have left to throw some Cannons on the razorwings. They have been pretty damn good for me to strip another wound or two from a Hive Tyrant or other FMCs. I would feel confident with both of the fliers shooting at a DP or Nid FMC and downing them. If they Jink, they lose a tremendous amount of firepower in the process.
