Heavy weapons packs.

Do only the Kabalites come with the heavy weapons packs for the Dark Lance? I recently bought some of the bits from the scourge set, they have not arrived but I noticed that the sprue on GW does not show any.


If not any thoughts on the necessity of the packs for use with my Kabalites?

Since I play old school models or kitbashed from multiple GW sets a lot - my lances are all pretty much without packs (they get in the way of capes).

I don't foresee any issues for 'needing' the packs.

Double checked my scourge sprews to make sure and they don't have the packs, I think the wings get in the way so they didn't put them in the kit. It would seem they are only part of the Kabalite Warriors sprue.

I have a cast I took off one with that miraculous blue stuff. I can make you some in green stuff if you like.

I suppose I should not worry about it too much since my models are also not exactly standard. I bought a ton of Dark Elves bits to try and work into my DE.

You really shouldn't.

Sticklers would require you to have the official lance gun model - but anyone claiming you need the backpack is a ponce and should not be allowed into polite society.

Are most of your DE in capes? I would love to see them. I have a bit of an obsession with cloaks, banners and such.
