Meh I don't. My autarch has a hellion head as it's the closest thing to a banshee mask that is easily transferable.

I used a scourge head for my banshee mask. Looks very feral which matches his riding a raptor.

So, for my autach i finally got him together, ended ud using mostly scourge parts, with a custom fusion fun, dire avengers/warrior head, and a cloak from a harlequin.

I feel pretty good about the result!

The IA11 updated Corsair list may suit your "count as DE" better. The Corsair prince HQ can take combat drugs (which lets other corsair infantry equip combat drugs) and shadowfields, splintercannons are available on various vehicles like venoms and vypers. Corsairs with jetpacks can take many of the same weapons as scourges. You can then take harlequin allies to "count as Wyches" :p

Corsair infantry AND jetbikers have "brace of pistols" as default which means they can fire two shuriken or splinter shots, then assault with +1 attack. And unlike 7e DE, the Corsair squad leaders can all take venom blades!

Yeah your good. That'll do in any setting, but you do have 1 problem: That is still clearly a venom blade. Either file off the poison injector or build it up to make it look more like the power weapon motors and you'll definitely be fine.

With regard to the sword, I'd suggest maybe painting it bright colours - so that it'll look less like a venom blade.

Yes, i have to find a different sword for him, som conversion for a shard of anaris/crystal like. But he will have to settle on a venom blade for now.
