1,000pt Casual

Just wanted to hear everyone's feedback on a casual 1k point CAD

1 Lhamean
4 x 5 Kabalites + Dual Cannon Venom (w/one sybarite -warlord)
Razorwing + Night Shields
3 x Tri Lance Ravagers + Night Shields

1k on the nose. I was thinking of ditching one of the ravagers for some more anti infantry firepower (or just arm one with dissies instead of lances) Thoughts?

Knock off a ravager and take something else, 145 pts can get you heat lance scourges with 25 pts to spare.

I'd drop the razorwing as well, at 1k points unless you're going up against guard, you won't see a need for it, imo. I'd drop it and a ravager to take some reavers and scourges.

Seems fighting trim to me. I'd dump the flyer or a Ravager and take a legit HQ if I was trying too build a 'casual' list.

I'd keep the razorwing and make it your warlord by dropping the sybarite.

As far as making the Razorwing my warlord - I've ran lists without a warlord trait before. It works on occasion, but having the option to get a good utility trait has saved my bacon more than I can count

Dont know what exactly you would drop for it (upgrade a squad of kabalites and ditch rwjf and a ravager and the lamean) but blasterborn in a raider with a blaster/wwp archon and nightshields is pretty versatile. 25 more pts for a blast pistol can be worth it if you deep strike within 12"of whatever your GOING to kill. This may force you to choose between a target and an objective but with 3 other venoms and 2 ravagers you can probably shuffle things around.
