I've been having some success locally with this list recently and figured I'd share for feedback and discussion.

Some thoughts from a local tournament last weekend (took 2nd, ITC Champion missions):

1. Having 18 command points was awesome. Not much to say other than being able to Screaming Jets all 3 Ravagers every game and take Alliance while still having the CP to use our great stratagems (most notably Agents of Vect, Lightning Fast Reflexes, Fire and Fade, Cult of Strife one) liberally. Our army uses CP incredibly well and our troops are really strong, so 2 battalions is going to be my default going forward.

2. Witches didn't kill much, but were effective at threatening to tie up shooting infantry and contest or capture opponent backline objectives. Not having beefy coven units to soak overwatch hurt them against heavy overwatch like Tau Riptides that damaged Venoms don't reliably survive. Lelith is fantastic and has outperformed my Red Grief Succubus (in other lists) massively. I've liked a big squad of Red Grief bikes in other lists.

3. Venoms have been fantastic for me. They are cheap, bring a ton of shots for clearing screens and threatening bigger things with sufficient volume, and are way more durable against shooting than I think most opponents expect (and as a result when spammed with Ravagers create saturation problems for opponents' shooting to an absurd degree in high volumes). Unfortunately I only own 6.

4. The CWE battalion adds a lot to any of our lists - great troops for holding our own deployment zone objectives, screening, and psychic support. Doom/Jinx are broken with massed splinter fire and Disintegrators. This all comes at the cost of ~500pts of additional threats for target saturation. If I'm not running it, I'd be looking to spend those points on more tools against 2+ armor and Vehicles (Razorwings or Talos seem great in that scenario).


Moving forward, two detachment "building blocks" I'll be looking to try out in various lists:
1. Harlequin outrider of Skyweavers with Shadowseer and Solitaire. A friend has been running that in his lists and it has impressed me a lot.

2. Coven Spearhead w/ Talos - pretty beefy threats to pair with Venom spam and Ravagers in a mostly shooting list.
