2k Cult of the Blade Denied

Hello!

Looking to create a very fluffy, fun, pseudo-effective list. I enjoy playing more aggressive, and enjoy having a theme to the army. Not looking to win tournaments, but winning games would be nice! New to being a dirty knife-ear, so help me out!

Want to make a pure Cult of the Blade Denied. Their background screams for the custom obsession traits of Berserk Fugue - Representing the ability and more random chance to possibly use the enemy's weapon against themselves and Test of Skill - Which represents their more 'liberal' use of haywire grenades to soften up bigger targets, and also to help out the flyers as they are after harder targets. They are all about being disadvantaged.

TL;DR - Lots of wyches in dissie raiders, each with a Succubus to support. A dozen Reavers to play flanks or harass, be flexible. And 3 Flyers to help with hard-targets. Was going to run this as a Raiding Force for more fluff, but Battalions gave more CP.

It has been a while since I've seen anyone go with that many wyches. Cults aren't as competitive in my opinion, but that said, I've never done 6 large squads of wyches!

I would consider swapping out one or two of them for Drazhar for some variability. It will be interesting to see how you fare with this once we're able to get back to gaming.

B.c its a fluff list i will say nothing about it. But out of curiosity, is your area playing with Ro3?

As stated above, the Rule of 3 is that you can only take 3 of any unit, except for Troops/Transports. This would mean that in a Matched Play game you can only take 3 Sucubi total. You can still run two Batalions, you just need to drop 3 of the Sucubi and replace one with a Special Character (generally Drazhar because he rocks socks).

What would you say about throwing some Blast Pistols onto your Sergeants (cant recall the wych name off the top of my head)? Not the most competitive, but in a fluffy list it would give you a little Oomph vs armor.

Ahhhn. I see the rule on 3. Guess this cuts down on spam shenanigans. Though I didn't really think a few succubi was that gamey.

Hm, with the feedback here, what about the list below?

Filled out 2 full 10 squad of wyches for a raider. Added Drippin' Drazhar (it's what the kids are calling him) in a raider with 9 wyches. Gave each Hekatrix a blast pistol to go boom-boom with. Lost a couple shock prows and traded shardnet/impalers for hydra gauntlets in the 10 strong squads to fit it.

How would you split up all the drugs? Toughness on the reavers, but beyond that?

Its not about "gamey" of many units, 90% the units are fine. But there are for sure enough units that it really messed up 40k for a good year, GW tried to just correct the "problem units" but they underestimated the problem. Its for sure the best add on rule for 8th so far.

But now you get to play with a cool mini
