| cheers guys the lower half seems to be creating some confusion it is suposed to be flowing robes as a) i cant sculpt so making legs are out b) i dont particularly like them floating on tentacles c) i wanted a more "Hellraiser" look to him (or he will have when painted hopefully) _________________ Eyes without life, Maggot-ridden corpses, Mountains of skulls. | These are looking awesome mate. The red? armour reminds me of Obsidian Rose Kabal, and one of the old dark elf colour schemes. Real nice...
I'm planning on using alot of Nid bits on my coven models too, as thats central to my army theme. It's good to get a rough idea of what they will look like.... aka... awesomesauce.
Not sure i like the Venom.... maybe because the plasticard section on the back isnt very streamlined.... which to me is what DE are about. But thats just taste =)

| They are looking great. Great work with the blending. A bit similar to Kabal of the Obsidian Rose, which I'd say is my favorite of the original kabals. _________________ Kabal of the Shadow Phoenix - Background Kabal of the Shadow Phoenix - Painting BlogModelled: 2753 pts Painted: 2263pts - shamroll wrote:

| I'm sure you get this a lot, but this is one of the most striking Dark Eldar schemes I've seen. It is so far from the standard "lines along carapace edges," and I like the fire-y palette you've got going there.
Beautiful. Just...beautiful. Can't wait to see more! _________________ | Modern Synthesist - See all of my nightmare creations Haemonculus Coven - See my Coven units Tyranids - See my Niddy conversions |

| Geez, those warriors look amazing. Don't be suprised when you see a cheap ripoff in blue version of your highlighting technique showing up on my plog soon. I think your "flatten the GS and wrap cloak" on the Haemi turned out great too, can't wait to see it painted up. | |

| Cant wait to see how that Ravager will turn out, if it is anywhere near the awesome that is the Raider it will look great. I actually wanted to go for a similar scheme but it would take me forever so standard red edges it is. Love how "fiery" it is. | |
