Kabal of the Final Breath
[/justify]If there is any Kabal that can now be linked to any stretch of the word ‘military’, it would be the Kabal of the Final Breath. Following the descent of the antique noble houses in Commoragh, the Final Breath was founded by Zerith ‘Abara, a former Autarch of the ancient empire. Unable to sit well with the simplicity of kabalite organization, Archon Zerith forged a new Kabal with the promise of becoming something greater than mere raiders. Those warriors and young nobles that came to the call of the old general found themselves tasked to rigorous training exercises day after day, honing their skills and combat capabilities into a razor edge with little in the way of pure sport amusement. Thus the Kabal of the Final Breath was born.

Archon Zerith ‘Abara
Zerith ‘Abara is a relic of the past. Once a great general of the Eldar Empire, ‘Abara found himself growing bored with no race that could actually challenge the Eldar and so retired only a few years before the birth of Slaanesh. The man known as Zerith did not age well with the times. Unlike many of the nobility, who quickly flocked to the kabalite system, the old general was unable to grasp the lifestyle. Rather than adapting like so many of his kind, Zerith chose simply to stick with the only thing he knew best, war. Forging the Kabal of the Final Breath, the Archon set before himself the task of creating his own personal army that would rival even the greatest of Kabals and show these young upstarts how real Eldar fight.
The Archon’s personality is one that remains rather uncommon in Commoragh. As a man who spent all his life in the military, Zerith treated his soldiers with respect and kindness. Ten thousand years of bitterness has twisted the man over time yet still he holds true to some of that mentality. Seeing his warriors more of a small army than an actual Kabal, Zerith continues to treat his men with a small measure of respect and courtesy, an act many new comers in the Kabal find rather unsettling. Over time, many of the kabalites have grown to show the same respect for their lord, particularly those among the Corpser Elite who share what one might even call loyalty for the man. This kindness, however, is not to be mistaken for being soft. Those who fail the Final Breath or try to take advantage of the Archon’s kindness will find themselves at the end of his Husk Blade or screaming for centuries to come in a Haemonculus pit.

Organization and Speciality
Many of the ancient Eldar military’s characteristics have been adopted by the Kabal of the Final Breath. The Kabal fields an unusual quantity of Warriors yet one will find nothing of Hellions or Wytches alongside them. Zerith is a very arrogant man and will not ask aid from idiotic upstart Hellions and has a personal bias against Wytch Cults under the belief that ‘Gladitors should stick to their coliseums and leave the fighting to real warriors.’ To compensate for this lack of allies, the Final Breath specializes in ensuring that every warrior is the best of the best, leaving no room for error. Each Warrior is trained to fulfill any combat role needed, whether it be wielding a Splinter Rifle or piloting a Ravager. This wide range of combat skills allows the Kabal a much greater range of flexibility that allows them an advantage that balances out their small numbers.

Corpser Elite
One of the most unique assets of the Final Breath is the warriors known as the Corpser Elite. Normally, a Kabal leaves the honor of serving as the Kabal’s elite to the wealthy Trueborn Eldar. This fickle bias holds no weight in the Final Breath as Archon Zerith cares little of your background or family. The Corpser Elite are those kabalite warriors that rise above the others in both martial prowess and cunning. These warriors are handpicked by the Archon himself and it does not matter if that warrior was a slave, a wytch, or a nobleman. If you are the best, you will rise. In battle, the Corpser Elite serve as the claws of the Archon, each squad tasked with vital missions that they complete with flawless effort and are rewarded in turn for their service. Although many still search in paranoia for the blade in their spine, some of the Corpsers have come to trust Zerith, even hold a sense of loyalty to the old soldier.

Colors of the Final Breath
The armour of the Final Breath is a very simple concept. They wear black body gloves on which their gleaming white armour plate adorn. Their eye lenses are ice blue and their cloths are commonly also blue. The color purple is reserved for the Corpser Elite, the specialist warriors commonly adorning their tabards and hair plumes with the royal color.
