ETC Dark Eldar lists

Here you have the Dark Eldar lists that will be played during the upcoming ETC in Serbia. Eldar allies are old codex and Vasaras list is one of the "better". (comes from a noob) Lists will be posted in separate replies to make it easier to distinguish.

All of these list are somewhat "tailored" as DE can't be built to be TAC list in ETC that well.

My vote goes to Russia.

I noticed flicker fields were less than abundant in all these lists. As jink is a cover save, do these lists not expect to cop a lot of ignores cover weapons? Locally, I have to suffer these weapons constantly so found the flick a must.

Would love to see that jetbike list. So many bladevanes...

This is a very interesting list as it shows what the 'worlds best' are using in the most competitive environment.

Interesting to see triple Ravagers on all but Dan Sackett's list and the prevalence of Venoms everywhere.

I think I'm most intrigued by the variety of Trueborn used.

From what Vasara explained to me it's worth remembering that ETC discourages balanced lists due to it's team format. So these are all lists built to counter other lists and/or "throw a curved ball" to the opposing team. Though each ETC team will still have some balanced lists to offer up to the other team (again due to the format), Dark Eldar are not the best army for making balanced lists, and so they tend to be built anti infantry heavy.

Still it is interesting, the reaver least looks like it's built to be as lopsided as possible, not sure about spreading out the special weapons like that (caltrops and heatlances on different bikes).

I wonder if any of these players are members of TDC (other than Vasara )? it would be interesting to read their reasoning behind each list.

It's exactly as Mush says. Quite frankly, for what I recall, from last 4 ETC, 3 were won by Polish team players. The time where they didn't win, was becouse of Team captain Change, who was a douche (Luckily they pick up the old one again). From what I know by talking with them, they take 2-3 lists that are most solid, and grant the best chance of high place, and force few other players to take meta-specific lists.

It's also good to take into account, that some players don't take it serious, and go to ETC more for fun (like English players this year) rather than beeing competitive. By what my country Captain told me, the most competitive approach comes from russian and german players pretty much every year. I won't sign under that statement, just passing it by.

Having been on the Aussie team with DE last year, England were serious for sure - and they won it in the end.

The match up process indeed means you can shield DE from bad games and maximise their chances at a white wash.

Short report due to bad wireless internet connection.

At singles I won three of my six games and faced 4 necrons beating them twice. Also lost to demons but Ravager to beat Elsan/tau. Great games for me and I had a blast.

Our first game in the WTC was against Wales and my opponent played orks with tau. Managed a of 12-8 although se Lost the match.

Next game I was put to the front third and my opponent was deamons. He had six flyers and mission was kilpoints and 4 objectives. He made hsk saves of 3+ with mark of tzeensch and 4+ fnp. I lost the game 6-14,but finland won the match.

Tomorrow we'll be facing Romania in the morning.

Hsk as in Huskblade? How did he get FNP against it? *confused*

I also do not understand those Seer councils ... there is no way to guarantee powers anymore.
