Very good.
Ok I think I have it now. Based on a couple of games that lack some CC punch and some additional AT support and an ability to deal with hordes I thin I have an all comers list that will be redundant, competitive, and have sufficient duality.
For your review I humbly submit what I believe will be my final tourney list.
HQ
Succubus with agonizer and haywire grenades
2x Haemonculi with Liquifier gun
Elites
3 trueborn with blasters in Venom with Dual SC & NS
3 trueborn with blasters in Venom with Dual SC & NS
Troops
(4x) 5 Warrirors w/ Shredder in Venom w? Dual SC & Night Shields
(2x) 8 Wyches with Hekatrix, haywire grenades & Venom Blade in Raider w/ DL & FF & SP
Fast
(2x) 5 Scourges with 2 haywire blasters
Heavy
(3x) Ravagers w/ DLs & FF
comes out to 1998.
The Succubus is much cheaper than Lady Malys, carries and agonizer and will ride with one unit of wyches and a single haemi
the second Haemi rides with the 2nd unit of wyches
Trueborn are smaller than I would like, but 3 shots is still 3 shots and it's not so painful if they all get blown up. Still won't like it but....
Warriors are pure objective takers and/or soften up units for the wych assault. No AT ability at all, but they are cheap and efficient.
Scourges, this is where it came together for me, at least on paper. haywire blasters should, statisticly, stun at least each round of shooting. With 2 units, they are cheap, can deal with armor regardless of AV and deal with infantry. I plan for them to buy me time by stunning armor, or blowing off weapons. Immobilzed is probably the least of what I want, but heck, I will be making ti hard for any armor to do much.
Ravagers are self explainatory.
The Nightshields on the venoms, I hear and read love and hate for them. In most of the games I have played, they have been taken down by short range rapid fire weapons or meltas. Night shields, especially in my game lst night, would have kept all my venoms alive. All of them were taken down by short range shooting, less than 12 inches. So I put them in to increase survivability.
I have a couple of games this weekend so I will keep every one posted on my progress.
Please do comment on your thought based on this latest version. I have been playtesting the heck out different variations and I think this one fills all of the gaps. Nothing is over the top uber, but everything is a threat.
I appreciate the feedback very much.
