This a hundred times over. Absolute BS. I mean, I'd understand and be happy if they left it at a 1 always misses and a 6 always hits. But it's bananas! Back to the Succubus vs the Commander; I did forget to incorporate Feel No Pain but it doesn't change the outcome according to my math (using MathHammer40k.com). Without Charge and Drugs I'm seeing the Glaive Succubus only do 0.29 wounds, and the Commander landing 0.55. If the Commander fails Fear it drops to 0.37. Either way Commander keeps winning. Eventually.

In true Dark Eldar fashion, don't fight fair. Bring a Wraithknight!

| Sorry, accidentally hit send on that last one before finishing! You speak truth, friend. Wraithknight sounds like the best bet lol. What about Lelith? | |

This, 100% this - the guys at my club must be fed up of hearing me drone on about how stupid this is, especially for someone like me who can regularly roll 5 dice hitting on threes and only get one hit through (last game gamaged to miss with 8 of 10 talos attacks againt WS4 termies). Perhaps even give re-rolls for misses if your WS is double or more than your opponent.

| With Lelith I'm seeing the Commander land 0.24 wounds/turn. Lady Hesperax in return does 0.54 wounds/turn presuming they're in a challenge, which my Archon and the Commander were in my last match seen HERE. If not in a challenge, Lelith is only doing 0.22 wounds. That right there is the epitome of ridiculousness!
And for fun I ran the math on Disintegrator Cannons vs Buffmander assuming you somehow manage to target him. And survive long enough nearby to get a bead on him in the first place. 24 shots from Dissies required to drop him. Baloney!
Yeah Burning_Eye, I feel your pain. Happens all the time. That's why 5pts for Chain Flails is soooo very worth it to try compensate

| My solution to that used to be a soul trapped Archon with huskblade. My answer to every tooled up death star that took to the field. I have a list of all the deathstars he had killed. Not much gets added on now though. Looks like shooting is the answer! | |

| To be honest, I wouldn't worry about trying to actually kill the commander. He's incredibly tough and you'll end up throwing an inefficient number of points at finishing him off. Be content with tying him up in combat as that essentially removes him from the game. If he can't shoot you anymore or be a threat, isn't that good enough? | |

| Kills his team members in CC and add some Ld reduction. It doesn't matter how tough he is if he's caught in a sweeping advance. | |
