| Good news everyone! I have finally started working on my haemonculi! I realise this is usually where most people start their armies but I got carried away by pain engines...what you gonna do? Both of these are VERY early wip at the moment so forgive the roughness of them for now. Firstly we have the more reserved one that has had the least done to it so far, I wanted a more lean and skeletal form for this particular haemonculus but haven't gotten the rest sorted. I want the clawed arm from the dark elf medusa model but procuring it has been proving...difficult... The second is the likely going to be the general of the army. I wanted to do a haemonculus sitting down and the question became "what would he sit on?"....well...... | |

| I have to say that this is the single most grimdark and easily the goriest vehicle I've ever seen in this hobby.
And I absolutely love it.
The Grotesques really needed something as equally morbid (and awesome) as they are to transport them, and you've hit the nail on the head with it. +1!

| That's bad man, i can relate even though people say i paint them and only i have to like them, i want everyone else to like them too Anyway i guess your army just wasn't mainstream enough for their taste, i think it's really cool and one of, if not the scariest looking Army on here. Keep going! PS.: Just the base design tables many armies i know lol | |

| Bruh, that judging was bogus by the sounds of it.
Your army is sick, literally disgusting. And that is a compliment. Very inspirational!
One question, what is the big piece on the raiders, is that a mass of organs and people?

| If I may, I've had a little experience with GW scoring systems, and there is usually a factor you may not like to hear - official models.
Your work is fantastic, it really is, but GW events will heavily favour any army that is majority, or entirety, official models. Or at the very least easily recognisable as official models with a little work done on it.
I've been to at least one event where the "best" army chosen in a painting competition was one of the blandest paint jobs I've seen in a long time. It honestly looked like one colour, a wash for shading, and very heavy highlight. It, and a couple of other meh armies, won over a far better painted army which was heavily converted and scratch-built like yours. Chatter afterwards amongst the people was that it was a bit bs too. Near as I can tell, its linked to the GW UK rule of each model "50%" official to use at Warhammer World thing.
I've no doubt that at an indie event, you'd do incredibly well on modelling/painting. But GW have different standards, and those don't always just come down to actual painting and modelling.

| Oh man sorry to hear about that (managed to miss that post!), but yeah that's BS. Your army is one of the most downright terrifying I've ever seen honestly, I think it might make some of John Blanche's creepiest creations sleep with the light on... In some ways it's comforting that there's some sort of BS 'originality' scoring somewhere in the system. | |

| Well, I don't know about the results of the painting Como, but I do know that your army would have had my vote where I there.
It's wickedly beautiful, and terrifying. The effects on the metal, the general layer of gringe and rust, the terrifying claws and tools! Truly the stuff of nightmares.
The blood effects, especially on those Wracks, are terrifying. There is no section of skin that doesn't look pale, sickly and monstrously strong.
The Haemonculi look sinister and terrifying, I love this army's scheme, and your execution of it is appallingly brilliant!
