The Monthly Vow: November 2014

With Halloween behind us it is time to paint up new reinforcements to let the nightmares of our enemies continue.

Make a vow, or make it a threat, and tell us what you hope to achieve during November.  Paint it, slice it, convert it, ..... anything and everything.  Everyone who succeeds in their daring devil-do will get their name highlighted in TDC's highly-coveted-but-not-so-visible Commorraghan purpleTM!

Dragontree: Flock of Scourges,  if time, repaint a unit of blaster born to match.  1 Inquisitor and 1 unit of Terminators.

Marrath: 5 man warrior squad, base for a Venom

Caspaar 5 Wracks, 3 Grotesques, and a Raider

benth3bear: 5 barbwire Wracks

Count Adhemar: kitbashed Sslyth, 3 Tau Crisis Suits, and some drones

Aeterna: 8 Gladeriders/Darkriders

The_Burning_Eye: 5 Incubi, Venom, Talos

Gobsmakked: 10 Scourges, Succubus, Haemonculus, Talos

Anterzhul: 10 Scourges, ___Grotesques, Cronos

Evil Space Elves: Imperial Manufactorum building, Succubus from last month,Convert/update/paint 5 Kabalite Warriors from old 3rd edition models, Blaster Archon!, Bonus: Something BIG

Bloodofthefallen2: 5 Kabalite Warriors

I will finish up a squad of scourges in my new Kabal scheme and if I have time, repaint a unit of blaster born as well to match!

I will hopefully finish my 5 man squad of Warriors with bases and all, and the base of my otherwise finished Venom.

Ill finish my 5 Wracks, 3 Grotesques and a Raider

I shall attempt this with a vow to convert and paint up my 5 barb-wired wracks

I'm going to aim for a heavily kitbashed Sslyth, 3 Tau Crisis Suits and some drones.

Aiming to finish the 8 Glade Riders/Dark Riders I got.

Finish my 5-man Incubi squad in Venom, and paint 1 Talos (it's also my entry for a painting comp at my club - due to be completed on the 4th December so I'll try and get it done a bit early)

This month, I threaten to paint 10 Scourges, 1 Succubus, 1 Haemonculus and 1 Talos.

10 scourges, my Grots (to be converted from putrid blightkings) and a cronos

Progress! Poorly photographed progress!

Have to be realistic this month with the holiday, podcast, and Nurgle in my lungs
-Imperial Manufactorum building for my upcoming home table
-Succubus from last month
-Convert/update/paint 5 Kabalite Warriors from old 3rd edition models
-Blaster Archon!

That Voidraven can rot for all I care!!!

Scratch the Sslyth! The idea I had for the parts I was going to use is a complete non-starter due to horrendous mismatch in scale.

The bright lighting hides the shading and depth, but the Manufactorum and Succubus are done!



On to the Blaster Archon and old school Kabalites

Looking damn good again. If you had the time I would be interested in a tutorial, not that I would use your colour scheme but I would love to see the general stages and techniques that go into your style

I did one on this model will put it up in a few days for you!!

Scourges finished barring bases, but supplies have not yet arrived for that, they will be snowy bases
