| Well, this went faster than i expected, hope you like my finished Warriors and, now based, Venom! P.S.: Thanks to Evil Space Elves for the Basing Tutorial. It gave me an idea on what a good base should look like and a good use for the sprues Still got my own bloody muddy sword graveyard thing going of course P.P.S.: Feels good to be back in business after forgetting my army case on a train, losing about 1 year of work and 230 euro worth of models/case. Maybe that's why this batch went so fast, because Power From Pain. Many more pictures in my Log. Comment and critique welcome. | |

Oh my, that sounds awful. I had an army stolen quite a few years ago. Terrible feeling. At least you are off to a smashing start on the replacements.

| @ Evil Space Elves: Stolen? What the hell man. Can't describe how i think about people who do that without violating a bunch of forum rules.
Anyway your Succubus looks really pretty, especially the realistic face and brilliant gems. I have one too, she has to wait though because i have a bunch of other miniatures basecoated, waiting to be painted.
@ Dragontree: Love those Scourges with the bright yellow, pink OSL and the wings!
@ Bloodofthefallen2: That armour looks supersmooth, looking forward to see the squad finished.

| Awesome! I'm thinking more and more that Dark Elves heads are in reality meant for coven units. Those heads look much better on your Wracks than on the Riders they come from. Will they be helmets, actual faces or (my guess) stolen faces sewn to their new owners' skulls?
Edit: I see the heads are from the Sisters of Slaughter which look better than the Rider guys, your Wracks look better still.

| Finished up those old school Kabalites: Just have the Archon to finish up for this month's commitments! The bonus Venom should get wrapped up around the same time. I guess the key for success in the Monthly Vow is to aim low with a few units, pound those out for momentum, then pound out a couple of bonus units FTW? Actually, I'm probably painting everything I can to avoid that stupid Voidraven | |

| Right, I have sacked off my True Born vow as getting my old paintjob off them was the proverbial teeth pulling... Instead I painted the inquisitor that will provide priests, zeal and servo skulls for my fledgling 2500 point black templars... (the plastic crack has got me fellas... bugger) With this fella and my scourges I really feel my tabletop standard is coming along since I started a more concerted effort with my Night Lords. @ESE that front knife wielding kabalite has such a sinister pose to him, looks fantastic. @Caspaar I applaud the smoothness of that raider, I wouldn't have the confidence to do that at all. plus the wrack have a lovely skin tone | |

| Cracking stuff BurningEye The freehand on the venom is excellent and the blue tones of the horns are fantastically smooth and subtle. Despite completing my scourges nice and early, I'm still struggling with paint stripping my trueborn So in addition to my Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor I painted, I will also be completing 5 Black Templar Assault terminators, I've got one done and the other 4 started, pics of progress to follow on sunday probably! | |

| Thanks Dragontree - my first thought when I finished the freehand was 'it's the Starsky and Hutch venom!' but I'm kinda ok with that Talos is close to being finished, there's just a couple of finishing touches to add. | |

| In lieu of my trueborn I present some Black Templar Assault Terminators. The idea of my Black Templars is to have something easy to paint inbetween my True Kin as I struggle with them. So the scheme and techniques are designed to be nice and simple. But I think they have turned out to an ok standard for fun gaming, as they will be a very fluffy, and therefore uncompetitive army. And some cheesy freehand writing! I'm hoping to get a PLOG up for my imperial stuff soon. Watch my sig space! | |

| Talos: Complete! Phew! I wouldn't normally spend three weeks painting a single model like this, but it's for a comp at my club - any C&C in my plog please (see my sig for link) EDIT: After the last two months being fairly conservative - I'm going to be ambitious in December! | |

| Well, once again I completely flubbed on my painting threat, which was supposed to be done in time for a charity tournament this past Saturday. So, I only had 90% of my army fully painted, the rest was at least partially done. I did have some legit excuses, though. Had a job interview last Friday, which occupied a fair bit of the previous week and a half. And I spent a good portion of the past few weeks creating some new terrain pieces for my collection, casting them up the same as I did with the DE crash craters. And once again, I gave a couple of copies to Saturday's tournie as raffle prizes. Crashed Fish'ead - Crashed Tin'ead - Cheers. | |
