The Monthly Vow - November - 'tis almost the Raiding Season

OK, you only have two months left in the year, so aim your painting vows at completing some aspect of your army.

Do you know someone who would like something in particular? Or perhaps you need to flesh out your own Coven, or buff your elites? Maybe you still have an empty parking stall or two in your docking spurs?

Sign up denizens and make a vow about what you are going to build/paint/convert during the month of November and then show us your progress by the end of the month with a picture (as much as we trust the word of anyone here in Commorragh , a picture or a link to a pic here in this thread or it didn't happen!).

Challenge yourself, a friend or an online colleague. This is a great way to motivate yourself and others, and it's a great way to give to someone else, as well.

Reavers. Mostly Reavers.

Oh, and I'll finish off that pesky Venom.

I will be building and converting a voidraven from a razorwing and venom

It's sole purpose in life will be to kill Misty the Vulture gunship

I have a big month ahead so here's what I need to do:

- 10 Warriors, 2 w/ Blasters
- 2 Venoms
- 5 Beastmasters
- 6 Razorwing Flocks


The Warriors in Venoms is for my clubs escalation league and the Beasts are for my 2000 pt list. I'm hoping to get it all done but between a newborn baby and work I don't have too much spare time...

I got a 10 man squad of Kabalite Warriors I need to finish.

Hopefully I'll have a productive month.

With having so much work to do this month I am keeping my target small... I also don't want to fail another one of these challenges!

So, I vow to finish my Trueborn test model to see if I like the colour scheme for them and finish my five Incubi... possibly.

This month will feature 100% less FAIL.
I vow to complete and paint the following:
-5 Corsairs with Jetpacks
-5 Corsiars with jetpacks
-Corsair Prince
-6 Corsair Jetbikes

-Assemble the 2 Warp Hunters that I just ordered
-Make something cool for the Secret Evil Santa exchange once I have my giftee.

first time doing this, my list will be

4 Reavers
4 Wracks

Razorwing Jet (if it comes in soon enough, will be alot of freehand!)

1 wash ready,
9 base coated

So, yea...

This month my goal is to paint:
5 more wyches
5 more warriors
Buy either a pack of Wracks or Talos on the 15. (Salary day) and glue together and paint.

I paint horrible, but its better than the plastic grey :p

Got these little lovelies in the post yesterday! These tanks are a real treat in person. My league opponents are already soiling their pants One more thing checked off the monthly list! All six of the riders for the jetbikes are done, first five jetpack Corsairs are nearly done. I'll post another progress pic before I fly out of state Tuesday. Looks like I'll be able to complete this vow for November.

Actually finished painting wyches and warriors, not done base's yet. But the talos is the big problem forgot to order new undercoat, so that isnt arriving before end of week at earliest so doubt that will be finished this month

Finished my Venom and the jetbikes for the Reavers. Painted up the first of the riders last night. 5 more to go so should be on target this month.

With a busy month at work and a new baby I haven't even come close to finishing. Gonna have to postpone my vow until Jan when I have some time off work.

Reavers all done and the Venom was finished off pretty much on the 1st of the month. Pics are going to be tricky though as I am at work all day so have no daylight to take any halfway decent pics until Saturday (1st Dec).

Archon with Blaster and Venom Blade done, very pleased with how he turned out.

Gift for Santa's little victim not finished, but construction is well underway!
