| Anyone considered or using tyranid models as beasts? Or as ur-ghuls or slyth? Seems to make sense to me as there's plenty of examples in the old and new codexes about capture of tyranids for the arenas. I'm sure with a few goad sticks my archon could press them into service.. | |

| Before they updated the codex I was going to have flying ripper swarms as ravenwings, gaunts as khymerae and possibly warriors as clawed fiends. | |

| You could still do that! I've got one odd genestealer I was going to use as an ur ghul. | |

| Geneatealers as ur ghuls didn't think of that one, but I'm not sure if I want to use the beast pack anymore (especially since I can use my jet in FA and scourges getting way better) | |

| I attempted a Sslyth conversion using a Ravener as the base but the Ravener model is way too big for that to work convincingly. | |

| Use the Ravener, or for a truly monstrous queen use a trygon, as a sslyth broodqueen and then it can double as a talos or cronos. Then in your backstory you could use that as the reasons why you have lots of sslyth or why you keep rolling the serpentine drug. | |

| Hi,
The ravener tail worked well for the base of my Ssylth conversions:

Female Kabalite warrior bodies, hellion weapons for top torso. and scourge carbines for the lower torso & reaver heads.

| Do you know if they are taller than a regular sslyth because I was intending on getting one Sslyth model and having three ravener Sslyth, if they are bigger then I'll probably just say they are sslyth modified by haemonculi to be bigger or as special bred by the beat masters. | |

| @Rathstar - Really like your Sslyth conversions. Might have to steal that idea at some point... | |

| I thought bugs would make good Beastpack beasts. I use a swarm of scarabs for a Razorwing flock. | |

| I use the original metal ripper swarm models for mine. | |
