The Monthly Vow - September - make a promise and keep it!

What are you going to paint in september?

Make a vow and in the end of the month, show us with a picture...

In september, I'll remodell an Archon into Asdrubael Vect and paint seven Hellions and their Baron...

I vow to paint a raider. That's a vow big enough for me, because I hate to paint vehicles.

During September, I will kitbash and paint one Reaper and one Tantalus.

I vow to finish my entire army in time for a tournament....

I vow to finish 2 Venoms and my 2 units wyches

I'm gonna get my Razorwing jetfighter assembled and basecoated.
I'm gonna get all my Wracks flat-coloured and washed.
I'm gonna finish painting my Venom.

Finish the venom.
Paint incubi.
Finish succubus.
Buy and assemble 6 reavers.
Finish a raider.

Unfortunately, I don't have a functioning camera.

Me too! I'm going to paint my other two venoms and a ravager...cursing and screaming about how much cool detail our vehicles have

I will do the following:
- Paint 5 Incubi and their venom
- Paint 5 Warriors
- Finish other warrior unit's syberite.
- Start a project log here! XD

That's not my problem... It is more the large plain areas that annoys me.

Nail things to them! Paint swirly bladed patterns on them! Make them chequered! Subject a Guardsman to the death of the Blood Eagle!

I vow to paint five Incubi in the colours of the Hand of Doom and finish building and painting my kitbashed Archon!

My vow is to (again) try to make My Raider "master". However I'm pretty close with it, I just need to decide about few things (like how many detail I want to have "right from cast" and how many I want to sculpt, because I don't like army of clones).

Maybe some casts too, however I'll need to come up with new lightweight "composite".
Maybe carbon fiber/resin shell from 2-3 parts?

I vow to finish two squads of five Warriors, four Trueborn and a raider.

I vow to finish 3 wracks, a 4th venom, 2 more ravagers, and two box of reavers for the 1k leg of the escalation league, also start on my display board. Maybe also do a projects blog, as well as finish my kabal fluff (got a friend who is a published author helping me on it )

Razorwing is basecoated and (mostly) assembled! I just need to glue things in place!

I know it's going to be a busy month, but I want to plan to finish my second squad of wyches, and get pics up of everything I've got done.

I vow to build+paint the Court (1 Poison-Girl, 3 Snakemen, 2 Medusea, 5 Ghuls),
I vow to build+paint 20 Warriors
I vow to make 5 Harpies

Well done keeping to your vow. I think this is something i need to start doing, to make sure i get my tourney list sorted in time.

I'm hoping to finish my sanguinary guard before saturday as I have a geekend then...

Well, I it didn't turn out exactly how I planned, the Tantalus is barely started, but I did have a great month in September, better than I could ever have imagined really.

I did manage to kitbash and paint one Reaper,



and kitbash and paint a squad of five Grotesques and a Grotesque Raider gunner,





and kitbash about 60% of my Voidraven.



I also managed to get my Wrack Raider/Ravager about 70% complete (no current pics, there's an early shot of the hull in my project log) and I assembled and finished painting a 3-piece battery of CWE Support Weapons for my son (no pics yet).
