| How do people usually transport their Razorwings/ Voidravens? I have been putting my on top of the foam in my carrying cases and just leaving space to zip up the top. Do people have foam they carry it in or something else? I am tired of having to fix guns, fins, and especially the flying bases.
Any help is appreciated.

| I put my planes (all 4 of them) in a cardboard box with my other DE-minis, no foam/tissue paper, strap it on the back of my bike, and hope for the best.
Still not a single scratch in the paintjob.
(I tend to have luck. Once, My kabalites caused 11 wounds in a single salvo while snapfiring.)

| I use a box for a landraider for two flyers and two raiders. Fits fairly snugly with some spare foam.

| KR Multicase has lasercut foam for the Razorwing... so thats how I cart mine around. My Void Raven goes in a tupperware container where the bottom is lined with a thin sheet of KR foam and then filled with all chunks of plucked out foam from my battlefoam case. Seriously KR is the best... its expensive but if you've spent a long time on your army and want to truly protect it there cases are so nice. | |

| I use a box, the bottom laid with fluff (teddy-bear stuffing, cotton wool would do). The Flyers I wrap in a cloth and just place on the fluff, usually a bit on top, and just stack the flyers. | |

| Sturdy shoebox and plenty of bubble wrap was my preferred method.
I was bought a KR case which I use for my CSM army and it is fantastic.
Over time I want to upgrade all my armies to have a KR case.
But shoebox and bubble worked everytime, just a faff!

| My dark eldar are just the most repaired things I have ever owned. I use standard carry cases. All the men etc fit nicely and are ok. The second one contains my reavers, I pulled apart bits in the fiam to make triangles and then in the bottom two segments the monstrosity happens. An empty foam chasm with two razorwings sat on top of each other, 4 venoms, talos, chronos, grotesques and wracks. Safety in numbers. They are the few things that don't tend to be damaged as they are so tight. My raiders and ravagers on the other hand interlock in a bubble wrap shoebox and bits come off them every damn time. | |

| I magnetise my raiders a lot, so sails, guns etc all come off, as do the gunners on my ravagers. The razorwing however fits nicely in a stationery box I got ages ago from ikea.
But as with others, I do plan to upgrade to KR cases as soon as I can afford it - my marines got three cases worth of love (and 1 bag) for my birthday last year so I'm planning on getting a second bag and some more cases this year, though hopefully sooner rather than later!

| KR is the company - Kaiser Rushforth is their full name.
They have a great 'autofill' program on their website - you enter what models you have, it selects the correct foam inserts for their cases.

| I'd argue that the autofill option isn't all that great. Mostly because several of the custom DE foam trays have weird allocations, like 5 Hellions and 5 Reavers or 8 Reavers and 2 Talos/Cronos. Who takes Reavers in anything other than multiples of three?
I'll add another recommendation for KR multicase, but it really is better to look at the selection and choose individual trays that meet your needs instead of using the autofill (at least for DE).

| I bought a bunch of 2" foam, and took to it with a mini hacksaw blade. I'll tidy up the edges. One day.... " /> | |

Once you've run the autofill, you can still switch out trays to replace them with whatever you want, and I found that part of the program is better than other parts of their website for figuring out what you want.
