| Ok. So I'm at my local GW and we were talking about mono army cheese lists. I play Dark Eldar and, at first, could'nt think of a cheese list (1500pts) for DE that would actually be competitive outside bringing 6 razorwings and 3 voidbombs. But then realizing we can do 6 fast attack I started to wonder. What do you guys think about the following list?
1505
Archon-Stock equipment *venom with 2 splinter cannons
x2 3 man units of kabalite warriors (mainly would be used for backline objectives or whatever)
x6 12 man units of reavers
Now, that is 72 FRICKIN' BIKES! 24 Blasters. 2+ jink save with night fighting on turn 1 and 3+ onwards. I'm not sure how well this would do but I imagine it would be a pain in the ass. With this much field presence it would almost deny most deepstriking and turn 2 fliers might not even be able to get on the board.
Now I would never play such a list as I just think it's silly and hate cheesy lists but it does look like fun.

| First off, the kabalite warrior units need at least 5 members.
2+ jink save? Not sure how you get this, jink is a 4+ cover and night fighting only provides stealth for 3+. The realspace raider detachment gives the unit a 6+ cover save on turn 1 only, but this doesn't stack with jink iirc.
That being said, I think playing a list like this would be fun, don't think it would be that cheesy either actually as you've not included caltrops on any of the units, which is where most of the bikes offensive threat comes from. They'll be jinking a lot if they're going to survive so shooting won't be hugely effective either.
If you really want to do a list like this then you might as well go unbound, obj sec is not much of a loss since you don't have it on most units anyway.

| Isn't it 4+ jink, 1+ for nightfighting and +1 for skileld rider?
Then take out the venom and add more warriors I suppose. I also don't like running unbound at all.

| don't think skilled rider affects jink any more (it did in 6th edition, when jink was only 5+), just passes dangerous terrain tests automatically. | |

| I wish - my local gaming group knows all about them and uses either wyverns or heavy flamers against me! | |

| Flamers and smart missiles should be rebranded as "Reaver-be-gone!" | |

| As a man who loves running Reavers, yours will suffer a LOT. They have no upgrades here, so will fall very easily to any kind of gunfire. Anything Ignore Cover will wipe whole units away, and you'll completely fall down if anyone gets into combat with you. | |
