1000pt all comers

Is 1000pts to few points to have an Archon with webway, shadow field, and Court bomb? 40% of my army is HQ and I only have 8 dark lances. I want this list to be competative but also lots of fun

I would only give the archon a blaster in this ponts level and take one unit of 5 kabalites with blaster in raider to go with the archon.

Archon with blaster :75 pts.
5 man kaballite squad with blaster in raider:115 pts
Ravager with 3 dark lances:125 pts

You still have 90 pts to play with. I would bring 1 more venom as dedicated transport for archon. and take night shields, agonizer and/or hwg for archon

Thanks razorfate, I'll take that as a yes than. What if I got rid of the archon and just used the court. I would save a bunch of points but lose the ability to webway. I could than add the third ravager for more dark lances.

if yoyou dont get the archon make a kabalite upgrade for sabarite so you can take warlord trait

How would you adjust my amry list to deal with MCs like tyranids? Maybe getting rid of the Archon and Medusae and adding some Lhameans with the Sslyth? Would adding a third ravager be better or a third warrior squad in venom?

Venoms are the most points efficient way of dealing with MC
