I've been thinking of a small list for beginner games that allow for not only learning the rules of 40k but to learn how Dark Eldar function.
In short how do you think a list like this can perform to a newer player to Dark Eldar? I understand that a list is not the end-all-be-all when it comes to winning games but for a newer player a solid one can surely help the learning curve. What do you think?

HQ
Archon - Blaster
Venom (SC)

Troops
5 Warriors - Blaster
Raider (DL)
5 Warriors - Blaster
Raider (DL)
5 Warriors - Blaster
Raider (DL)
5 Warriors - Blaster
Venom (SC)

3 Venoms and 3 Raiders in an MSU style play. I know its lacking a Ravager but I figured 3 DL's and 6 Blasters would suffice for anti-mech at 750.

For what you are looking for, looks great. A good DE force will usually have most units in transports. Mobility is what we are all about. You will definetly get to see that with the armylist you provided.

looking forward to 1500 I thought of something like this:

HQ
Archon (Blaster), Venom (SC)

Troops
3x 5 Warriors (Blaster) , Raider (DL)
3x 5 Warriors (Blaster) , Venom (SC)

Fast Attack
2x 6 Reavers (CC)
Razorwing (DL, SC)

Heavy Support
2x Ravager (3 DL)

I was looking to make sure that each unit had some ability to hurt a vehicle, and having my damage capabilities spread out never using only one of any unit. The razorwing doesn't quite fit into this so I'm wondering if a ravager or a third jetbike unit might fit better.

Loving your 1500pt list. The combination of the Reavers, Ravagers and Razorwing totally works for me. I'm a DEnewbie myself, but aesthetically, that looks like a great force.

If I was going to change anything myself it would be to swap in some Wyches... possibly drop 2 warrior raider units and have 9 Wyches plus Succubus. I know those points don't work out perfectly but that's where I'd be heading.
