| I'd love to get involved. There is another local player(SM) that I can play test with. I play Dark Eldar (of course) | |

| Likewise count me in. BFG was actually my gateway to the Dark Eldar, and back into 40K, and I've played Tyranids, Dark Eldar, Chaos & Orks - because well ramships - and I know a few people who'd be interested in play-testing things, primarily Imperial Navy & Nurgle though they've also played most things.
As something I already know they'd appreciate, Holofields and Shadowfields, they're perfectly fitting and make sense, however they are a hard counter to lances, ordenence and pretty much anything that isn't a weapon battery. Which often leads to a lack of diversity, as any player who know's he's potentially playing against an Eldar fleet of any kind is best prepared making a list the is all weapons batteries, which is dull for them, and dull for us. (The is obviously based on the assumption that players know what or who they're playing before the game, but considering the niche and therefore smaller player groups of BFG that's not entirely unreasonable.) | |

| Man, I frak love you guys. I've worked in the gaming industry for years, starting early at 16 and have done community balance projects for DoW, CoH and BfME. My background is in game balance design and quality assurance. Now, I'm in project management, but I've never dropped out of designer part of me. My credentials.. - Quote :

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition (2014) StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm (2013) Diablo III (2012) StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty (2010) World of Warcraft: Cataclysm (2010) World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (2008) Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (2007) The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth II (2006) The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth... (2006) With a few unmarked ones such as Company of Heroes, Opposing Fronts, Dawn of War, Dawn of War Winter Assault, and DoW Dark Crusade. Send me your gmails so I can give you access to my google drive! Keep in mind that only the core rules are done. I have to collaborate with a couple of artists to get the updated unit cards out in play. Think of it like a mix between X-Wing, the original data sheets, and Warmachine. You will finally be able to mark Hull damage, I know.. shocker. Don't hate me, Dark Eldar are not in the game yet. The first four races that I will roll out is the original 4: Imperial, Chaos, Corsair Eldar and Orks. Armada expansion will follow once we enter beta. Feel free to spread this around! I don't usually frequent 40K sites outside of this one.. - Quote :

I have a pretty good idea on how to make Shadowfields different and unique while being different than Eldar Holo-fields. That won't be revealed for a while though, right now we need to focus on the changed game mechanics. 4a. Please refrain from double posting. You may "bump" a post every 48hrs if you feel you are not getting responses. Double posts in project logs are acceptable. /Your friendly mod SS
