Looking for suggestions for HQ build

Hey, guys. Some of you may remember my Mandrake-Sorcerer conversion from a while ago:

I'd like to use him as a DE HQ - either a Coven Haemonculus or an Archon.

Anyway, I'm just looking for suggestions for builds that would fit the model and a 'sorcery' theme.

Any thoughts?

If i WYSIWYG that guy either archon witj Clone field, soul trap, power sword or haemy with wwp liquifier crucible of maeldiction. Both would most likely have an archangel of pain

Well, it doesn't have to be exactly wisiwig. I mean, it's not like I'm using a proper character/wargear to begin with.

One question though - why Clone Field on the Archon? I'm just curious as to how you think the model represents that.

The mist of screaming souls around him seem like they could function as a Clone Field.

Well it's not so much the clone field fluff wise, but the 4+ invul save. It's kinda mystical, the shadowfield "breaking" doesn't really seem to be justified on the looks of your model.

EDIT: Extra thought, the necron C'tan have a 4+ invul and this guy looks alot like a baby ctan to me

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. I guess that's another incentive to use some Necron allies.  

Also, on the subject of Necrons and conversions, I found recently that I had some spare Cronos tentacles. It would be a crime to see them go to waste...
