Suggestions

Hi all,

new to dark eldar. well. not exactly new as I'm still just considering it due to funds issue but I've been reading the codex and the models look freaking cool.

anyway, If I start an army I would like to have maybe a warrior squad, a wych squad to attach my archon to, maybe a few more wyches..

and a whole lot of reavers and hellions etc.

I'm hoping to make an insanely fast army that can just run rings around the enemy.

any suggestions? or should I come up with a list and post here haha.

I'm hoping to build something off a battleforce or 2 to keep costs low..

One of the most important suggestions for any new player: read Plastikente's Dark Eldar Unit Guide. Many, including myself, have found it to be invaluable when first starting out.

It gives a break down of what each unit does, it's strengths and weakness, as well as listing some of the more viable strategies for their use. From there, you can decide what seems like it would fit your playstyle best, making it easier to create a list.

That said, you're on the right track with Reavers if you want to run rings around the enemy. I don't think many would recommend Hellions, however (not without Baron Sassypants anyway).
