| Either of these would work well: Crypt Ghules Flagellants | |

| Crypt Ghouls are a good choice, as are generic GW Zombies actually. I used a combination of various Dark Eldar Warrior parts and Wood Elf Dryads: | |

| Cutting up!
Mostly just slicing armour apart, removing the waist for example, and cutting the waist of the Dryads and sticking the together (a little green stuff for smoothing).

| I understand why we convert Grots, but why convert wracks? I think the wrack models are one of the best DE models we have | |

Same reason people climb Everest or blow stuff up. It's there, I can.

| Also - since Wracks and Grots are made by the Haemonculus, I feel people convert these models so that their Wracks and Grots will look original as if made by THEIR Haemonclus. Thats just my thought as to why.

Another reason is that you get only 5 Wracks for the same price as 10 Ghules.

| Those are all good reasons. I guess we all convert for different reasons. I'm currently working on converting wracks to coven theamed Sslyth. (Mostly because I like the wrack models so much) I'm using shardcarbine bits from the scourges as an extra set of arms. They are turning out pretty cool so far | |

I did mine for the sake of the theme, plus I'm not really a fan of the "hellraiser" style wracks, as I think of them. My kabal is fleet based; cast out of the dark city and forced to masquerade as exodites or corsairs when dealing with (and quietly preying on) other races. As a result all my models are "pretty" and at least in some way mimic "normal" eldar. My wracks are based on some shirtless wood elf torsos that come with scalpel-like daggers in the left hand. Stick on a wrack mask, wrack weapon right arm, and some legs and you're pretty much done. They do have some obvious traits though - the masks as well as the organ banks I added to their backs and the occasional 3rd arm. I used some of the shoeless scourge legs to give the squads a much more dynamic appearance and posture, while still keeping armor to a minimum. Most of them look as if they're in the process of hitting the ground after jumping off a transport, which is typically what they'll be doing anyway. The only issue is they look like they'd be fleet, and they aren't. O ya - and then there is the $. I spent less on 4 5 man squads ($14.55 - thanks ebay) then a single box of 5 plastic wracks cost. I did have a few parts though like the grenade launchers I converted into ossefactors. TLDR; I find converting to be my favorite part of the hobby, plus I'm cheap.
