| Originally I felt that I didn't like the new Incubi models enough to justify buying them. However, since seeing some of the awesome conversions people have come up with, and the Incubi's rerelease as Finecast models, I've changed my mind.
The thing that put me off them in the first place is those helms. I really, really don't like the horns, and I miss the Tormentor helms. I understand that the fluff has undergone a pretty extensive rewrite including the Tormentor helm now being switched to a psychic feature, but these changes really grate on my nerves.
So what I really want to know is - has anyone converted Incubi and removed the horns or added Tormentor helm features? I've compared the old models to the new and I don't think a headswap would work particularly well.
If you have converted your Incubi in some way other than using the faceless masks from Reaver and Wych boxes, how did you find getting rid of the horns? Difficult? Did it make the model look strange? How difficult do you think it could be to model a Tormentor helm onto them? As a secondary enquiry: Has anyone painted their Incubi without white helms? I rather fancy a silver armour with black helm motif.
Thanks for your time,
Raucir

| How about basing them on regular Kabalite heads and adding some decorations at the top? | |

Ehhh, I'd prefer their heads to look different from Kabalite heads. I suppose I could shave the horns off and add a topknot or something, but I'd prefer to find a way of getting some sort of Tormentor equivalent on there. Thanks for the suggestion though! Raucir

| I intend to swap the heads for bare head Kabalites with the sash across the lower face. That way i can paint runes of khaine on them | |

If you have Tyranid bits lying around, you could build up a Tormentor Helm out of Tyranid chitin and the tips of heat lances comparatively easily. There is probably pretty close headware in the Dark Elf line too. | |

| With my Incubi, I used the heads from the Dark Elf Cold One Knights box | |
