Yeah, that was what was tripping me up.

Have you guys played the DA new book yet? I played it a couple times the other night..... In a Way for Us its worst than SM new book.

We have the least options in the game for dealing with cover saves, and the few we get are lackluster at best. Rerollable 2+ cover saves break us given that we suck at melee as well

They don't. Had the pleasure to play against most of the new craziness and I never felt overwhelmed. When I lost it was due to mistakes on my side

Reading through the internet that seems to be 100% accurate.

I don't get why my personal experience is so different than what seems to be the overall consens.

Underwhelming opponents

There are a lot of reasons why experience can differ.

Well, I play in south Germany and basically just on tournaments. Superheavies are not allowed besides the imperial knight. Also unrestricted D and invisibility.

We are short on flyrant spam but besides that most ahole lists are there; Decurion, scatter bikes spam, grav spam, screamerstar, draigo cent star, battle company, dark angel bike spam (all rerollable jinks... Seriously who came up with that crap? ) and of course tau.

I usually play 2/3 dark eldar and 1/3 craftworld.

@Xalopec what did you take? I'd like to see that battle reports. How did you cope with the cheese?
