Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I've made an appearance, but I feel it's a perfect time to show everyone how far these cosplays have come. For those of you on the Dark Eldar facebook page, a lot of you have seen these already, but for those who have not...
Behold Archon Razvyan (my girlfriend) in her nearly complete set of armor! Few pieces left to go, and the shoulders weren't attached at this time (they are now
). Once again, her aesthetics are of my own design, and influenced by the Dark Eldar Trilogy's explanation of how unique each Archon's suit of armor is. It inspired me to do something very unique, but kept aesthetics (Archon shoulder blades, horns on helmet, nasty gorget, kabal symbol will be on cape, and are on the knee guards, etc etc.) to be recognizable despite the liberties I took.
The paint scheme and design was an idea my friend and I came across, and on large scale armor looks incredible. It was actually a design used by Forgeworld for their brass scorpion in the master class book, pretty cool!
My girlfriend loves polearm/spears, so I designed an impaler/power spear to match her title "Queen of thorns", and to be on par with a weapon fit for an Archon

Center piece of the spear, painfully crafted by hand until all the thorns looked appropriate. They're a 1/5th the size of my pinky nail to give you an idea!

This encompasses most of her pieces! Still missing shoe covers, face tattoos, red eye contacts, elf ears, and fully painted spear! Everything will be done within the week, and I'll also post photos of my entire cosplay soon! An Archon needs her Incubus, after all.
I'll try to keep up with responses throughout the week until I reveal my cosplay as well! Hope everyone likes how far I've come!
