Dark Eldar Grotesques models

Dark Eldar Grotesques.

What do you use for your Grotesques? I really don't want to pay $28 per model so I bought the Putrid Blight Kings and converted them with Cronos and Nid bits and thought they came out nicely but had a guy complain that they were not to scale. I have used them at numerous tournaments and gotten nothing but complements on them, then the 1 guy complained. They are the same Base as a Grotesque but he is right that they are a little shorter.

I am about to buy another box of Putrid Blight kings so I can run the Groteserie(SP) or Fill a Tantalus and wanted to get overall thoughts or even other Ideas of where to go with them.

Don't like them, sorry. They look too much like chaos and Nurgle for my taste.

No problem at all everyone has there opinion but what other option do you think? I don't want to pay $28 for the actual models!

Quite a few other options in there, not to mention the assorted classic kitbashes with Rat Ogres or Warspears.

I created them using crypt horrors and talos parts.

Crypt Horrors are perfect. Replace the heads with Talos Heads (which I have 6 so I should have plenty left over) and they look a lot like the actual Grotesque.

I play at an actual Games Workshop store from time to time so Games Workshop models were a must. Sorry should have included that.
