| Just curious as to whether anyone has tried an Ulthwe paint-scheme on DE models? And, if so, does it look any good? | |

I was about to say something like 'I don't think that would work - since you'd have to lose psykers and they're pretty key to Uthwe.' Then I remembered Corsairs, who can take something along the lines of a Farseer, and Lv1 psykers who (not unlike Warlocks) are permanently attached to squads. Huh. I'd actually been asking purely out of curiosity, since I've seen some amazing looking Ulthwe armies and wondered if the black/white scheme would look as good on DE. However, if this paint scheme does work on DE, I may have to do Ulthwe Corsairs...

| Ulthwé is black and bone (with the odd red accent), right? I can't see that not looking good on Dark Eldar. The colour scheme GW use for Incubi is fairly close to how it would look.
I've actually been considering a black and white colour scheme myself.

Basically, yeah (though I'd probably go with Blue/Purple accents myself). - Erebus wrote:

Fair enough. The thing is though, I was wondering if anyone had actually done it with DE. I could just try it myself, but I was wondering if there were any pictures of it being done well. - Erebus wrote:

Good point. - Erebus wrote:

| During my many searches for a potential colour scheme, I came across a couple that were black & white. Neither are quite Ulthwé, but they might give you an idea of what it could look like: 1.Glaven 2. | |

Thanks, that's quite helpful (the Archon in particular is interesting). The only thing I've yet to see is what DE guns look like when painted bone-white.

| Wow, that's pretty much exactly what I'm going for with my vehicles, just inverting the paint-scheme on the infantry. | |
