Random button for signatures/posts

So, when you open the expanded options, one of them is 'random'.

Presumably this is to allow one of multiple options to be selected at random on display, but how exactly does it work? When I try wrapping multiple sentences or images in the rand tags, the preview simply shows everything, and the rand tags as well... what am I doing wrong?

eg:
[rand]blah blah blah[/rand] [rand]yak yak yak[/rand]

Honestly, I have no idea. I will try to find out for you.

Edit: After some quick research all I've been able to find is the description "gives you a random number between the 2 specified values." from a couple of different sources. I've not, however, been able to figure out how it works after some experimentation.

So typing

 [rand]1,6[/rand]

gives:

Random number (1,6) :

2

So my mistake was in thinking it was any more than a random number generator I guess

It seems I was doing it wron by not inseting the comma. I'm glad it's been figured out, anyway.
