| GW is actually taking questions for an FAQ.
Think I might as well start a thread where we can all post questions on here and send to GW.
I would like this thread to be about all space elves. Dark Eldar, CWE, Quins, Corsairs etc.
Let's compile all we can and send GW an email with whatever we can think of.

| I've already asked about the Lance vs. Quantum shielding debate. These are interesting changes from GW. Are they still a model company first? | |

| The one question per person bit will complicate this.
(I'm tempted to make my question, "Who are you, and what have you done with Games Workshop?")
Would the most sensible thing be to take the forum's list of unanswered questions and assign specific questions to forum members, so everything gets asked?
There's already over 900 comments there, so figuring out what's already been asked is going to be time-consuming.
Edit: or at the very least, if you ask a question, tell us what you asked here, so we don't have repeats. I'm trying to figure out if any questions about the True Kin have been asked yet.

| Well is it the best to compile or just send them as many questions as possible (don't repeat same question again and again) because they might overlook one thread between the 1000+ comments... | |

| I've just scrolled through over 1000 questions.
Assuming that I didn't overlook any (entirely possible), only two people asked specifically about the Dark Eldar.
The first asked if Crucibles of Malediction really work the way they work (hits the unit, rather than the model with psyker rule), and then also asked if Soulfright weapons will get better. Because he asked two, but one was not a FAQ question, I don't know if they'll still answer the second or not.
The second person also failed at reading comprehension and asked a whole pile of questions. I don't know if they'll just toss them all out, or answer one at random.
I did see several people asking about embarked passengers shooting from jinking vehicles, and if a Harlequin's Kiss attack happens even if she chooses to attack with her other weapon.
I asked about the leadership penalty from multiple detachments with Freakish Spectacle stacking.
For those also choosing to ask a (SINGLE) question, the forum's list of unanswered FAQ questions can be found here.

| I think they should have a link for each army so people can ask army specific questions more easily. And that would make it easier for GW as well.
Anyone ask about which Shadow field profile is supposed to be used?

| To be totally honest I don't think they will answer any dark eldar questions. There will be answered some rulebook ones and space marines questions and maybe some questions about the latest new hotness (space wolves and daemons) that's it. | |

| I asked if deep striking skimmers get moved as per the rulebook p89 if they scatter over enemy units. Some brainless fool decided to try and answer it themselves despite clearly not understanding the whole question or where the debate comes from, but the internet is rarely blessed with people who actually read and comprehend whole articles/questions. | |

| Hopefully, GW is not going to decide that this is a big waste of time due to having to sift through the sheer number of inane and/or non-FAQ related questions. Since GW doesn't seem to have much experience with internet-based customer relations, I'm worried that they'll have problems understanding that this is just the way of the internet, and that they just need to accept that there is going to be a crappy signal to noise ratio when they consult the entire internet, and sift for the gems without getting frustrated about it. | |

Indeed, it seems the vast majority of comments are either pointless complaining or stupid questions that can be easily answered by just reading the rules and understanding what words are.

| I agree with you about that Anggul!
It's like 70% of the questions don't even need an FAQ. Just read the dang rules for casting psychic powers for F@#$ sake. Haha

| I just hope they don't decide that if a Raider jinks, that the passengers can only snap fire. It would make the Raider nearly superfluous | |

| Does anyone still have a copy of the mass FAQ email we tried sending some time ago? Might be worth digging through it and sending those questions one at a time just on the off chance thsat this is actually an effort on GWs part. I'd be happy to send one of those questions if other people can do the same. Maybe if theres enough questions for one army, they'll be noticed. | |

Calyptra put a link to it earlier in the thread Ah, must have missed it. Thanks. I've asked the Trueborn question - whether or not they count as Kabalite Warriors for the formation.

| I think my question might be "How did you manage to make the DE Codex so utterly dreadful only 6 months before releasing the, frankly (and criminally), awesome Craftworlds Codex?" | |

It's pretty apparent that the DE codex was a 6th edition draft that they just decided to rush to print in order to have shiny codices in the then-current format available for all armies.

| Plus the question wouldn;t be out of place, as it looks like at least half those on the FB post are "when are you releasing A", or "when will you release a B". | |

| I think this post is designed to provoke sympathy from us for the design team. Two thousand and something posts when I looked last night, many of them asking more than one question. Perhaps they're hoping this will demonstrate to us what a mammoth task sifting through and answering all our questions is. But it just makes me think that they need to design their games more robustly in the first place | |

| I think to be honest it is what it is, GW wanting to know exactly what questions the community has about their ruleset so that they can clarify things. Clearly the change in CEO has been having an effect in terms of the direction the company is taking, and I believe this is just the next step. I went to an event a few years ago at warhammer world where one of the design team was on hand to take questions for an FAQ. Yes, their rules could maybe do with tightening up to start with but there will always be situations where someone interprets something differently than another.
I find the response from the community immensely frustrating in that regard, the facebook post was clear, one question per person and it must be a rules question. In response they get a whole host of people asking non-rules questions and asking more than one question, and even trying to answer other peoples questions - if we can't follow a simple, clear rule there how do we stand a chance following the 100+ pages of rules in the rulebook?
It would be really nice to see the community take a mature attitude to what GW are doing here and respond in an appropriate fashion, and certainly some people have done that, but it seems that a large part of our community is trying hard to show that we don't deserve to be treated like grown-ups!
