| I agree. I whole heartily admit I've been fairly negative and cynical towards GW in the past, but I'm always open to signs of hope like this. | |

| If they hadn't neglected the game completely for the last few years there wouldn't be 2000+ questions to be answered (even if 75% of them can be answered with "Read the rules"). | |

| I've just been looking through a lot of them, and so many are extremely similar, or are completely obvious from a readin of the rules. And FAR too many are "when will you release". I don;t know how many questions will actually be answered by the end of this...... | |

| I'm certain that GW knew this would be a crap of non-topic questions and/or statements, some poor bastard is gonna have to trim the fat, but just how much meat gets trimmed too and what is considered meat, we will see.

| I feel like GW is some sort of timid woodland creature cautiously venturing out of the forest, and I'm afraid all the stupid will scare it off. (Which is ironic, because I usually think of them as an 800 pound gorilla with brain damage.)
I am also worried about how few questions about the Dark Eldar there were, at least in the first 1300 comments, and fewer still that were presented correctly. We may actually have an opportunity to get answers to all of these questions, and I'm afraid we're going to squander it because of lack of forum interest or motivation. (Where is everybody?) Worse, it might be seen as indicating that the Dark Eldar codex is fine, or that nobody cares about the Dark Eldar after all, or both.
Where is all the Dark Eldar nerdrage now that it might actually be useful?

| I asked my question and got an answer. I asked if there were plans to release plastic kits for all finecast models in the DE range, as well as a plan for a Harlequin HQ. They answered no plans for now, but don't count it out just yet. | |

| I drunkenly squandered mine on a less than stellar question. If you give me a well written one to submit I'll acquire the SO's account and post one up! | |

| I hate to be a pessimist but that is just the way I am, Sorry. GW is not going to take the time to go to that post and read all those FAQs. Someone needs to organize a large group of people that will post the questions directly to the post. I would but I already asked mine. Get people to volunteer and then have 1 person who will assign questions to people that will ask.
Fliers firing weapons. The book says fliers can fire 4 weapons. What happens if a Flier has more then 4 weapons. Can they fire the rest as SNAP fire only, like vehicles? Or are they just wasted.

Where is all the Dark Eldar nerdrage now that it might actually be useful? Well, some of the questions in our FAQ could probably use a trimming. For example, asking if splinter racks affect the entire army is a pretty ridiculous question. Does anyone *actually* believe that they might be intended work in this fashion?

| The problem with our codex isn't that it needs an faq. It's clearly written. The rules are just not up to date. I simply can't think of anything that needs an faq.
Maybe this one: can an Archon with WWP in a Bunker use it to deep Strike? That would effectively give us the possibility for some cool conversions.

There are some clearly mistaken rules like S1 Grenades from Haemy Codex for 35 points. This thing clearly need fleshbane or wound on leadership or something.

| Yeah, if I'd been allowed a second question, I'd have asked if the Orbs of Despair were intended as printed, or if there's as typo or omission there somewhere. | |

| Well.....there is the theory that if someone is going to go through that post and read all the qquestions, are they really going to be checking the names o fthe posters to make sure each person only posted once?
Granted obvious if they're right next to each other, but less so if other people have posted since your last........

| I'd assume the first thing they'll do is copy/paste or otherwise transfer the entirety of the comments elsewhere in order to manipulate and edit it. They'll need to identify and delete anything that isn't a rules question, and group the remaining questions by category, which will help them delete repeated questions.
It's probably going to take them at least a few days to turn the raw material into a coherent list of questions for the rules boys to look at.
I expect whoever does this will be irritated, especially if it's only one or two people editing the whole thing. After hours of reading through and deleting dumb trolling questions, bickering, etc, I can absolutely imagine someone going, "You fail at reading comprehension. Deleted."

| GW, on their facebook page (isn't it nice to have one again?) have said:
"we'll have a draft for you guys to look at in the next week or so."
A DRAFT. For US to look at. They've already released one for AoS, and it really is a case that they're putting DRAFT answers up for OUR approval! This was posted at around 6pm GMT, on Monday 25th April, so maybe next week!

| What happened? Did I die and returned in heaven?
But don't forget that a faq isn't making us more competitive. Or can anyone think of something that fits in an faq and that helps?

| I'm not really expecting it, but maybe the Orbs of Despair will get their theoretically omitted rule.
Mostly I just want to not have to preface with games with, "The rules aren't clear about this, this is how I think it works, are you ok with that?" which I currently have to do with multiple Coven formations and the Harlequin's Kiss.

| I think he means "Does Freakish Spectacle stack?" and "Do all attacks have to be the Kiss to use the one good Kiss attack?" | |

Yep, those. I'm pretty sure it does and they don't, but the rules interaction is murky enough that I'd really like clarification, rather than walking people through the logic to see if they agree.
