Lookin for suggestions for cable colours

So I've been drawn from my DE to paint up my Iron Warriors and 1K Sons, but I'm struggling o choose a colour for all the cables and pipes that appear on them.

My DE have all their tubes and cables painted green, but I want less a poison-y feel and more a electricity for the CSM. Also, their eyes are already green, so it may be too much of a good thing.

I was thinking orange (like real LV power cables) as that would also stand out on the rather dull paint scheme I've chosen.

Any suggestions welcome.

I would certainly use one of the colours already on the miniature, or a shade thereof. Perhaps a mix of the yellowish colour on their hats and the red of their robes? An in between orange could soften the transition from red to yellow, and tie the colours together.

Personally, I would also choose just one of blue (eg plasma pistol) or green (eg eyes) for the accent colour, too, as I'm a fan of restricted palettes. But hey different strokes.

Maybe it's just me, but your color scheme has a bit of a steampunk vibe to it. And I think a fiery glowing orange works very well with that.
