| Holo-fields have an if hit roll to see if the hit is negated mechanic, so blasts and templates would be affected if they hit. | |

| It's not an "after rolling to hit" thing then. Okay thank you | |

They would still autohit - but, then, as a result of hitting the holo-field would activate and potentially make them a miss.

| I think you can lock it. That was an escalation or old apocalypse rule right? | |

| The newest rules in Doom of Mymera give it a rule stopping you locking it in combat | |

| Sorry - I got that wrong - wraith titan means its very hard to hit them (6's, 5's if you are a super heavy) unlike the imperial titans who cant be locked... | |

| Grabbed all the books... Imperial Titans get a rule called towering monstrosity which scales as they get bigger - but all of them have the can't be locked rule.
The reaver then gains the hard to hit part the eldar both have
The warlord also gains the use of the large blast for stomps...

That rule just makes no sense. How hard is it to hit something the size of a tower block? It should be hard to damage, not hit!

| I guess it's really the thought of a mouse trying to fight you. If you move your leg at all it has to run another 5 miles to hit you lol | |

| Out of curiosity, do denizens think that Khárns "Gorechild" rule (always hits on a 2+) trumps the "Wraith-Titan" (non SHW and GC hits on a 6+) rule? | |

| I think so yes. Same against invisibility and probably blind. | |

I remember asking about invis vs. Kharn on Warseer, and consensus was that he trumps it. After re-reading both rules I think it comes down to - "Khârns meelee attacks always hit on a 2+" Against "can only be hit on a 6 regardless of Weapon Skill or other considerations"

My interpretation would be the spirit of the recent FAQ is that counter-acting effects would cancel each other out and the standard rules would apply, which I presume would be hit on a 3+ in this case.

That seems far too reasonable ☺ I think I'll put on my "That Guy" shows and say the "other considerations" in the Wraith Titan rule beats out Khârn.

| I think the recent FAQ clears it up yeah. I mean. Neither of you has the right to say you're rule just doesn't take effect because I think mine is more important. | |
