| A guy at my local game shop dropped the cash to buy a Warlord Titan. He is running a take all comers challenge. With whatever he has kitted the Titan out with makes it about 2850 pts and he has "graciously" allowed his opponent to go up to 3k pts.
He is also going by the new faq, so melee only hits on 6s and titans are immune to haywire.
Has anyone faced a Warlord? Is there even a point? I haven't seen the weapon stats but I am assuming its all D's.
30 hull points 15/15/14 immune to haywire and melta..... yeah.... GW doesn't want anything but other titans to kill titans.

| 10 Wraithknights should do the trick. | |

| Sadly, I only have one.
I was thinking I could throw a bunch of chainfists, my fellblade, a couple void ravens, a razor wing and a few ravagers at it. I just don't think I will survive more than one or two turns.

| Go full raider spam. Give them all lances. How many things can it attack per turn? Also, play maelstrom mission. Good luck getting points with 1 model | |

| Ravager titan hunters! mobility and their ability to ignore void shields with a good enough shot can put some hurt on it =D Also, try and get stuff behind it. I think it only has a few light weapons on its back. Is it immune to the lance rule though? 15 and 14 armour would be too tough without it.

| Wait... is that the 2000$ "mini" from Forgeworld?! My Ad Mech army is shedding tears of joy that someone actually bought that hunk of undiluted assault! xD
To be fair I have no idea how to beat that thing. You would have to spam ungodly amounts of D weapons. And I think it is immune to the lance rule.
My advice: Don't fight it. Just surrender yourself to the great tool of the Omnissiah and hope that it'll be over soon.
But seriously: Either ask around if other guys can chip in so that you can muster something like 10 Wraithknights or some other dedicated anti-AV force. And kill it from faaaar away. If it explodes, it does so in 36" with a 33% chance that ALL of the explosion is Strengh D.

| 6 Units of WWP wraithguard will probably kill it in 1 round. So basically you could probably do it like this:
Covenite Coterie Detachment: 6x Haemonculi w/ Webway Portals 630 2x 5 Wracks 100
Eldar CAD: Farseer w/Singing Spear 105 Farseer w/Singing Spear 105 2x 3 Windrider Jetbikes 102 3x Wraithguard 480 3x 3 Vaul's Wrath Support Batteries(Vibro Cannons) 270 1x Wraithknight 295
Eldar CAD 2: Farseer w/Singing Spear 105 Autarch 70 2x 3 Windrider Jetbikes 102 3x Wraithguard 480 1x 3 Vaul's Wrath Support Batteries(Vibro Cannons) 90 1x 2 Vaul's Wrath Support Batteries(Vibro Cannons) 60
TOTAL: 2994
If you just take the primaris powers of guide and prescience on each of the 3 farseers, that's enough to twin-link all 6 units of wraithguard, which have a fair chance of all arriving turn 2 due to the autarch. If they DO all arrive turn 2 and get twin-linked, they'd average 26.53 D hits in that 1 turn, which when paired with the vibro cannons, wraithknight, and singing spears probably gives you a fair chance at killing it. Keep in mind that unless you're nerfing D weapons, they do 6 + D6 hullpoints on a 6 and d3 hullpoints on everything that isn't a 1, modified by whatever the rules are for titans, which you should probably check before investing in anything to try this.
I actually own almost all of these models already, so this is probably what I'd do. I'd just have to buy a couple more boxes of wraithguard, which I'd do to see my friend's 2000 dollar titan die, haha.

would probably have to ask the opponent if it is ok to use apocalypse formations but I do not see why not. GW still sell the book on their website and considering this is about how to take out a warlord titan...Still, you are right to ask that question. someone may to have a GW staff member (my local store closed so I can't. boo.)

| Weakness of Titans have always been Air. So Titan hunters and as much air you can bring. Also as its Apoc level stuff, i recomend you play on larger table and allowed to use Apoc formations and stuff. | |

I don't think anyone bringing a Warlord Titan to a game is entitled to object to FW units or Apocalypse formations. Or indeed a brick in a sock!
