Back again with more bits of my army coming together. TDC has been great for feedback and help, and I feel I'm improving my skills quite a bit.

I LOVE the Razorwing model. It's definitely a DE vehicle, but has hints of the Craftworld Eldar in the design. Aesthetically, I love both variations on space elves; thus, I really love this model.

I'm hoping to make this the centerpiece of my army, and I feel it's turning out quite well. It's been a blast to paint so far, and I don't think I'm too far from finishing.

Here is a link to the album: IMGUR Album

What do you guys think? What could I change or add?

I plan on painting in all the gems across the model, they don't take too long to do, so that's not a problem for me. I also plan on doing some scroll-work/patterns like the GW pictures have.
I'm probably going to leave the base color black, and keep the highlights/edging to a minimum, I haven't seen any pictures of a Razorwing with highlights that, in my opinion, added anything good to the model. I'm going for a Kabal of the Obsidian Rose/Wych Cult of the Red Grief theme to my army. Kinda trying to keep the model simple, but striking, another reason I don't care for the extreme highlights, and why I kinda wanna make the base color black.

I will update with more pictures as the project progresses.

Edit: Updated with a picture of the whole thing, still not quite done painting, nor glued yet.

Eddit: What color should I do the scrolling and markings? Thinking about scorpion green to really contrast or maybe a gold-ish color... Or I suppose I could do red.

Edddit: More pictures, almost done painting, all the gems were finished. Not adding the white dots/am removing them from the tail, they look too cartoony.

I don't really know what to add, but those gems are fantastic.

Agreed on the gems, and your cockpit detail is terrific. Luv that radar screen!
