| I like the idea of a "Bone" color armor. However I do not know what colors to throw in to it that contrast well. Bone is not a big part of the color wheel but I think Metallic colors will looks great next to it.
Maybe the Armor is grown for them and their ships kinda thing? (My fluff brain is on overload)
So toss me some suggestions!
Also do I sub assemble or paint whole? if so what should be put together and what should not?
The eye glow I do want but is it possible to get that effect with out an airbrush?
I know I am but a slave now but carve your wisdom on me so I can rise lol. Thanks in advance guys, this forum is crazy amazing for someone starting out with the DE!

| "Bone" is in the yellow to yellow-orange range on the color wheel, depending on your paints. Basically, you get colors like bone or earth tones by taking a regular color and reducing its intensity (also known as saturation) by mixing in a lot of black/white/grey.
You can make up any fluff you like, but in case you're unaware: unlike the Craftworlders, the True Kin are big on craftsmanship and hand-making things, rather than growing them. We're artisinal.

| I did my guys a desert theme using army painter spray "Skeleton Bone" and put a sepia wash on them. I used sky blue and royal purple with that. They ended up like this I'm not a fantastic painter so I wont weigh in too much on the painting tips. Ive been warned pre painting can make gluing more difficult, but i think i would paint then add arms just because its hard to reach the chest | |

| Sprit Host style the white Ni lakh oxide and green shade in the deep spots for the armor... thoughts?
Do you think something like this would work for the armor? I love the way it looks but im not sure it would stick the same.

| That was about the basics of it but I chose to go with one of the Kabals from the book. I believe it was The Severed ? They have a purple armor with green shoulders, feet and hands. Reminds me a bit of the joker and I have fallen in love with the Screamer pink color from GW<3 | |

| I got the starter box. I am not sure what I can do with the one it comes with but after reading that it is something I plan on doing once I get my first model done and painted. | |

| As for hooks hands I'd suggest just using spare hooks from veichles. Or just paint the hands different so they can be robot hands | |

| The Wrack kit has some cool arms that turn into metal hooks halfway down. Talos kits have got some mechanical arms too... | |

| Thanks Man! I know i need to add a bit more, but I don't know where on the back to block it out if that makes sense?
And yea Highlighting I am waiting on the paints to come in to finish them, my goal was to just get most of the base coats done on my first model.
Any suggestions on where to add more metalics?

| I'd do the stubs on the back. Maybe on the helmet's blades. And I'd def add green or some other non metallic to the drug pump on his chest. Are you going to use a wash? | |

| The Drug pump is what I have been fighting about how to paint. I don't know what color im going to pull the dark green base coat under it on that shoulder blade. It is all part of the same plate I just didn't see it. *Stubs* ? the vent looking things? I would go... like a dark dark bronze. Any other suggestions ffor the pump?
A much brighter green is going to go over that dark green on the shoulders and feet

| I googled your kabal, and it looks like a yellow green is what it used. Idk if you like that look but it had potential | |

| I think it's the under suit on the back of the thigh, and armour all around the calves and shin | |
