| My giftee's gift arrived in plenty of time. My gifter has informed me they're running late. So, 50% success ratio here, not too shabby I do have some pics of another gift someone sent me that isn't part of the SSSR, but that maybe I'll up and post just because. | |

| Well, I will kick things off then. I received my gift a couple of days ago and as I said at the time, I was floored by the generosity of my gifter. He did not identify himself by his forum name, but going by the return address I have a pretty good idea who it is. And that makes it even more special, because I know that he was himself the victim of a Grinch not so long ago and lost a good portion of his existing army. So, MB, thank you very, very much mate! As you say, something old and something new - the Harlies are absolutely perfect, I have long had plans for a large force of them and these guys will definitely be leading the pack. And like you, the old Vect bodyguards are among my favourite models of all time, so this fellow will round out my squad nicely and give me some motivation to get them finished. Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2012! | |

| Solid win for the Gobby.
Oddly enough - I came really close to randomly dropping in an old Vect Incubi to my giftee but couldn't find the back prongs and sort of sadly wimped out on it. I regret doing that now as it would have been funny if multiple people did it.

| Sorry I am posting so late, but I still have 40 minutes of Christmas here and was spending time with my family all day. So, I absolutely loved my gifts from my secret santa. Bitz for Scourges, a couple of Rat Ogres (IoB set to make it even better), a few bitz for conversions, and chocolate. I was absolutely thrilled with all of it, the wings are way more useful than another box since they are harder to come by than a box of scourges. The Rat Ogres will find much use in my Skaven army and I like the IoB models way more than the regular ones plus I needed a spare for a conversion. And bitz are always welcome And it is true what they say, strangers really do have the best candy. And here is a pic. | |

| Sorry, I've had problems accessing the internet. I use a public connection and it has been rammed full for about a week.
I received a sweet Baron Sathonyx conversion. Unfortunately, he needs some minor repairs after transit which I haven't had time to do yet. Hopefully I Can get pictures up tomorrow.

| You guys are killing me! Or was that the plan, some mass Archons' plot to get rid of Santa and move up TDC's hierarchy? I'm watching you lot!
I will be checking via PM after this weekend to see who has not yet received their gift. I already have some feeder tendrils out there.

| Here is a picture of my gift; Unfortunately, this is the best picture that I could get out of my phone. I'll try and take a better one soon when I am able to use a better camera. | |

| Yikes, that is a big nasty! And that Baron is pretty sweet, too. He seems to be the most popular model by far at the moment.
Looks like some neat gifts have been put out there.
I have just sent every participant a request to confirm whether or not you have received your gift yet. I know that many of you have already PM'ed me or posted it in this thread, but I really want to double-check and see where we stand with this raid. And not leave anyone missing out for any longer than absolutely necessary.
So please check your inboxes and reply as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Claus. | |

| Okay, so I got an interesting box today (courtesy of Cailos) So, here's the box; I wonder what could be inside... Cailos sent me paper! No, no, wait, there's something inside the paper... Old Tree sets, some Christmas ones and others ready to build as I desire (though I think the scale on the Woodland Scenic package will tend to make them shrubbery of some sort - though that will do perfectly for a few terrain ideas I have for doing an Imperial/Eldar park/statuary display piece. Oh, yeah, I also got this guy... Sweet! This is something I specifically asked for, as I don't have any of the new Haems...but oh lordy, I've got to admit working with all that Fineflash looks slightly intimidating. Maybe I'll do a little WIP thing on this fellow and the Lhaeman I got for Christmas. But...WAIT, that's not all! (well, it is for Cailos and the awesome box of scenery and fleshcrafter) but there's...dun-dun-dun...a second box! It appears to be from a certain Kenny here on the fourms, what could it be... Looks suspiciously like an old school Beastmaster and 3 Warp Beast models - hu-freakin'-zuh! The cool part is they kind of go with my current paint scheme on my Warp Beasts... So - thank you, thank you, thank you to Cailos and Kenny for the awesome gifts. The Haem and the Warp Beasts will most assuredly both see a table in short order, and the trees will find their way...well, perhaps eventually to a table though perhaps more likely to the big pile of 'things I plan to model but haven't gotten to yet' which is starting to become a slightly intimidating pile of stuff, I really just need to bite the bullet and do some of that stuff. Look forward to seeing other pictures from the Raid. | |

| As an important matter of consideration - I have been informed the trees were not 'old' I withdraw the comment with apologies | |
