1250 coven/cad experimental list

Hey guys, just recently got back into the game from 5th and eager to try out some of the new toys the dark kin have acquired.

-DA-
cronos - probe
hammy - scissorhand, ww, vex mask
talos - ichor

-Grots-

3 x grots + raider
3x grots + raider

hammy - scissorhand, sump

-Cad-
succy - glaive, haywire
5x wars + venom (sc)
5x wars + venom (sc)

razorwing - lances, sc

I was feeling I was light on the venoms and lances, but idk. Thoughts?

The main benefit of a Dark Artisan formation is that lets the rest of pain engines in your army to rr fnp results of 1. If youre gonna include it I would field some tali outside of it as HS to a CAD or RSR. If you use it this way lose the wwp in the DA as youll want it to begin on the table.

I would lose the vexator and sump. Even the scissorhand as an haemonculus has too few attacks to really put it to use. Also I would not field the Succubus, but a Llhamaean in a venom instead. The razorwing is nice to manipulate reserves and all, but at a point value so low I really question its utility.

Thats 1230p. What are the odds, 20p to spare. With those you can give both haemis scissorhands if you dont want them to go barebones.

I was curious on running DA just to support the grots and provide a nice bullet sponge. I liked the succy to throw in with one of the grot squads so they would have a power weapon. But if DA are there just to support other talos, like you said prob better off just running an RR, Appreciate the feedback. Cheers.
