I think special characters like Vect should show their lore better.
Besides costing a crap of points, you instantly gain double the points of the enemy to spend on dark elder units. You must play a specific scenario where the only objective of the enemy is to escape and survive. If Vect makes an appearance there will be no fair fight, there will be butchery. He does not often do the dirty work anymore I think and when he does he makes sure the deck is stacked heavily in his favor.

exactly. Vect isnt really the type to be in the thick of the battle. He would probably send his doppelganger and not be there himself. So how can he be portrayed at the tabletop

Vect comes with a live hand grenade which you drop in your opponents model case prior to playing. Any models that survive can be used against the Dark Eldar, all others are counted as killpoints.

Maybe if demons invade Commorragh, he would go down and lead his troops. Maybe he even gets hooked and likes it. And even and if it´s one of his Doppelgängers, so what?

Even if he really dies, he would win anyways. He would become the most powerful of the Dark Muses, maybe even a demigod.

It's amazing how many people saw this and have come to the conclusion that Vect is getting a new model. I wasn't convinced with the teaser images of the cloak, I wasn't convinced with the silly Faet/Natfka rumours and I'm still not convinced with this bit of promo work for the Fracture of Biel-Tan.

Yeah I don't think so either. More likely to get a nasty henchman if we're getting a model at all.

I guess no model, but even only some fluffy rules for some "Vect's fist" trueborn unit would give me a drukhoner

I would love a Vect model but I don't think I would use him on the tabletop. He would be (or should be) extremely powerfull and expensive pointwise.

Vect is not a person that partakes in battle. I think the only record of him doing so in hundreds of years was for acquiring the Nulls he needed for Khaines gate.

Am I the only one who thinks that Vect will just die? Latest stuff I hear is that Abbadon dies too. So why not Vect?
