Thanks! My daughter pretty awesome and even lets me paint every once in a while
Once she gets past the sleep, poop, and eating stage your hobby time is over for about 2 years. I kid you not The real hard work starts with teething at about 6 months and baby becomes mobile. Enjoy it though; the whole experience helps put our hobbies into perspective. With regard to the FW tanks; how did you find them to work with? I may treat myself to Cobra or Fellglaive soonish. Love what you've done so far.

You know, that colour scheme would look amazing on Dark Elder. Speaking of Dark Elder, why you no paint them more?! I'm trying to pound out all my CWE models that I've been hoarding for 10+years. I'm gearing up to seriously revamp my Dark Eldar starting in December/January with the goal of getting back on the tournament horse. - darkmark wrote:

For the most part they tend to be very easy to work with. There are a few turds in the bunch (Spartan/Typhon track assembly, Revenant Titan...I'm looking squarely at you ), but the Lynx and Scorpion were very straight forward. I have a Cobra too that will be seeing some love in the near future.

| Sometimes you have one of those vehicles or models that has a little problem that you think you know how to solve, but fear that solution might be a total pain to pull off. My Wave Serpents and Falcons have needed to get magnetized weapons, but I couldn't bring myself to sit and do the work. The guns need a larger magnet than you can drill into the mounting hole, and there was also the problem of magnetizing the outside gun fairing so that it could be used with the different guns. Sat down tonight and worked out the first one after I got in a bit of paint time on this Falcon that I've been trying to paint for months. | |

| I hate when I get distracted. Just figured out today that I have all the parts that I need to make the 30 Guardians, Support Battery, and Vypers that I needed to field a Guardian Host. I really need to focus...but being able to field a full formation like that is too fun to pass up. Sorry Grotesques, Razorwing Jetfighter, and Tantalus. Looks like you'll be getting done in December? | |

| Not technically Dark Eldar related, but I have found a use for my Wyche models: Blood Bowl conversions! One of the guys from our gaming group is running a Blood Bowl 7's league (smaller pitch, seven players on the pitch at once) and suckered me into "learning" the game. Having a ton of fun and can't believe that I didn't get into this game back in the day! Runner and re-roll counter: Lineman and Blitzers: | |

Love the hydra gauntlets on the blitzer! I'm glad the gauntlets made it obvious as to which ones were the blitzers! On one hand I can't believe that I didn't play this game back in the day, but on the other hand I probably took myself too seriously back then to play such a goofy and fun game.

| I *love* Blood Bowl! It may be my favorite game that GW has made. I always played Undead, but always meant to put together a Dark Elf team. I still may some day.
Using Wyches as the basis for Blood Bowl conversions is brilliant.

Finally have some actual Dark Eldar for a change Put some of the new Fallout Hobbies custom transfers to work on my last two Taloi that I needed for the Corpsethief formation:

| The Ebon Sting sigil? I remain deeply suspicious of transfers. It looks good, but the edge is visible in the photo. Is there anything that can be done about that? | |

Trimming it once it is dry and hitting it with a layer of matte before I spray a light layer of Oily Discharge Ghost Tint on it. Won't see a thing when it's done.

| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQv_dJVZluY They're pretty awesome. Oily Discharge is a blue-black This is a transfer with the effect applied lightly from my Eldar army: | |

| You're right, I can't see the edges in that picture.
So the ghost tint is for an airbrush? I'm deeply suspicious of airbrushes.

| They are looking good dude. Micro set and micro sol are great for transfer application. They soften the transfers so they mould over difficut shapes easier. You dont get the outer ring effect so much with them, as the micro sol almost dissolves the transfer so it looks painted on. SC | |

SC Ha! I used both of those for these transfers. I was lazy and cut the transfers with a dull blade giving the rough look. Jokes on me- created more work for myself in the process

| Really slick ESE, subtle yet striking. BTW how big is your Coven collection independent of your Kabalite/Wych elements? | |

Painted I can field a little over 2,000pts of Coven. It's not a great list, but that's what is painted
